terrible service! I tried to schedule an appointment with Hyundai's internet scheduling service. I received a confirmation email saying that my appointment was confirme I tried to schedule an appointment with Hyundai's internet scheduling service. I received a confirmation email saying that my appointment was confirmed. The next day i received another email from Cie saying that the time i was booked for was occupied and that they had no openings for my car that week, which was weird because on the site there were lots of openings so don't book using the website!! So i told Cie when i was able to bring my car in and if any of those dates or times are open. I never heard back from him. I received a call a few days later from a girl saying that she booked me in for a Saturday morning at 11:15 am. Perfect so i had my appointment than. I got to the dealership about 15 mins earlier for my appointment, so around 11am. They took me right away which was great because they weren't busy. I told him that i wanted an oil change and a brake inspection on my car. My car was in the shop roughly around 11:10 am. He showed me to the lounge which was really nice. So i waited and waited and waited. An hour went by and my car still wasn't done. I'm not a genius or anything but i'm pretty sure it doesn't take an hour to do an oil change and a brake inspection. I kept waiting and looking. I was the first car in the shop and one car came after me about a half hour after me. I waited for another 30 mins. So by now i have waited an hour and a half for just an oil change and a brake inspection. About 10 mins after the service guy finally came out and approached me about my car. The oil change was done but he told me that my front brakes needed to be serviced and that my back brakes were completely gone and that they needed to be replaced right away. So i was alarmed that my brakes were THAT bad. So he proceeded to tell me the cost of everything to get fixed. It was over 500 dollars for the brakes and over 300 dollars for service. I understand dealerships charge more money but to me that was a bit much but anyways, he kept telling me that they really needed to be done. I said no. There was no way i was paying close to 900 dollars to get my back brakes fixed and have to wait another 2 hours, or who knows how long, after i have already waited over 2 hours! So he told me that he would get my car ready for me since i wasn't going to have my brakes changed. It took him another 30 mins to "get my car ready". May i add that the dealership service centre still wasn't busy!! When i went to go pay for my service i was charged 118 dollars for just the oil change and brake inspection! Good thing i had a coupon so my oil change was free but just the brake inspection was 72 dollars. I was earlier informed that my brake inspection was free but had to pay. It doesn't end there. I got home and was confused as to how come my back brakes were so bad that they needed to be changed right away. So i took my car into another place to get them checked. Well they told me that my brakes were completely fine! There was nothing wrong with them. They said that my front brakes may need to be changed in about 6 months or so but everything is fine!!! so i was going to be charged about $1000 the day i went into the Hyundai dealership and yet there was nothing wrong with my brakes! Disgusted!!! ~ So overall i waited far too long for my service to be done on my car even when it wasn't busy ~ They charged me for my brake inspection when i was informed that it was free ~ it took me like a week to actually get an appointment with Hyundai ~ and they tried to scam me to try to get me to change my back brakes when they didn't even need to be changed!! i will never go back to this dealership for anything! I rather drive a littler further to a different Hyundai! From: a girl who is absolutely disgusted! More

Front brake service done & advised re rear brakes soon due for work, also advised about tune-up. Long wait (9AM to 1PM) but that is not the dealership's fault, have been dealing with Guelph Hyundai for 9+ years & have found them to be competent & friendly & reasonably priced. More

Wonderful! I love the new dealership! Everyone is so friendly - I came in expecting to only do an oil change and found out I needed brakes as well as some other I love the new dealership! Everyone is so friendly - I came in expecting to only do an oil change and found out I needed brakes as well as some other work. The gentleman in the service department explained all the work without any pressure, he let me know what was urgent and what could wait. I ended going ahead with all the work. I had my 1 year old with me and they made every effort to get the work done quickly. The waiting area is great I was able to entertain my daughter with tv and snack while we waited and several of the staff members stopped to say hello and help me keep her busy :) The entire experience was GREAT! A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone! We may do play dates at Hyundai more often LOL More

There were a great many cars being serviced that day but my service was started and completed on time. Cost was very reasonable and the care was excellent. The lounge area is comfortable and is supplied with ample coffee and treats such as cookies, nutrition bars, etc. The wide screen TV is excellent and the free wifi makes surfing or answering emails while waiting easy. Once the car service is completed I was approached and called back to the service area. After settling the bill I simple got into my car where the keys were in the ignition waiting for me and drove away. Great overall experience. Go Hyundai! Greg J Gibbens More

The Hyundais have been excellent, reliable vehicles and that's why we have 3 in our lane at home, and sometimes 7 when the other immediate family are here visiting.
