Since I bought my car in June 2018, I have been up to date on each and every service that was required. I ended up moving to the west end about a year after purchasing my vehicle but I still kept going to the south side to stay with go Mazda because the service I got was always pretty good. Two weeks ago, I had a service due that would take about 90-120 minutes. It was on a weekday and I thought I would be able to wait but something had come up so I called into service just over 24 hours prior to my appointment and asked if I could get a courtesy car (I have always gotten courtesy cars each and every single service before no problems ever) and ONLY if there were any left the day I come in for my service but I was told no, because it’s too short of notice... understandable. So I explained my situation and asked for a shuttle one way, just to get me home. I was told the shuttle only goes to places on the south side. I said that I lived west. He replied with ”yeah sorry”. I was absolutely shocked. I told him I didn’t know if I could come to that appointment now but I’ll call in to confirm and he replied with “okay just call if you aren’t able to make it, thanks bye.” Completely upset with this and I don’t think I’ll be going back now.

Horrendous experience. We have purchased cars from Lexus Mazda, Toyota(North) and now Gomazda so we are experienced in car purchases and have had exceptional experiences until this one. We definitely were bamboozled and the longer I drive the car the more I see. It is 2016 and somehow a literal piece from the interior driver side came off so I could feel the cold. "Do not get roadside assistance, it literally covers nothing and they change its expiration. This doesn’t include the repairs that started piling on a month post purchase. Really unfortunate experience. If you want a mazda, go to any other dealership.

I went to Mazda to get my Mazda 3 serviced and ran into this great salesman Nick Bartlett. I was buying but had a great chat about the new Mazda line up. Nick knows his cars and is a true professional. I'll be buying from him in a year or two.

Came in for an oil change for my CX-5. I emailed Elizabeth (service manager) before booking to inquire on the price. She responded promptly and left proper notes on my booking for the service advisor in regards to a club discount I had. Price was better than I expected (cheaper than quick lube place). On the day of service Geo took care of me and was great to deal with. I was surprised that the experience overall was better than I expected for a location that's part of a large chain of dealers.

"Soon roof replacement"

On Tuesday March 5th 2019 my sun roof exploded and glass pieces were all over the cabin. We decided to drop off our vehicle for repair at Go Mazda dealership. After damage assessment the problems start piling up. First I have been told that insurance is not covering all associated costs for repair, because the inside of the vehicle needs extensive cleaning which can take three hours or more on top of regular labor for sunroof glass replacement. After I contacted the insurance, insurance told me that no one from dealership contact them for quote adjustment, despite I told service adviser, he has to contact insurance when he will have final quote for repair. When I asked when the vehicle will be repaired the answer was some time on Friday. When Friday comes I got the message that car is ready for pickup and I can come any time after 1PM. We arrived at dealership at 5:40PM on Friday to pickup our vehicle. We discovered that car was all covered with snow despite majority of the snow fall was over night Thursday. After clean up the snow I opened rear door and discovered that pieces of glass are still all over the cabin. I checked the service report and on it stated replacing the soon roof and cleaning the debris of glass. The charge for cleaning was 400 CAD. We returned to dealership office and told them for the problem. We have to wait for another hour to get the loaner again, because the person who is dealing with the loaner vehicles already left. What we also find inappropriate was, that receptionists were busy fixing their makeup in front of the customers, regardless of regular hours of business. They managed to get my car back on Saturday at noon after long conversation over the phone explaining them it is their fault and I shouldn't wait for whole day. What also disturbed me a lot was when I phoned to the dealership multiple time in that week, when on hold, the background audio in the phone system was commercial for different Nissan vehicles. I got confused that I might have wrong phone number. I told them that first time when phoned on Tuesday, but was still the same on Saturday.

I had exceptional service at this location. I took my 2017 Mazda3 in for service and while waiting for my service to be completed, I had the opportunity to chat with Maz while perusing the showroom inventory. He was unassuming, extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions about upgrading my vehicle. While I didn’t purchase my 2017 Mazda3 at Go Mazda, I will definitely be giving Maz my business when the time comes for an upgrade.

"I really wanted to like Go Mazda"

We purchased a new 2019 CX-9 from Go Mazda. We noted some minor scratches while picking up our vehicle and we were told, "Not a problem, just bring it in for servicing and we will take care of it." So we brought it it in for servicing....once, twice, three....nope FOUR TIMES. Each time we brought in the vehicle we need to do the gymnastics of arranging our lives to accommodate car pick ups and drop offs and maneuvering around without our child's car seat in the courtesy car while we wait. Why did we need to bring it in so many times you ask? Good question! Attempt 1: Vehicle gets buffed we pick it up once it is already dark out, but realize the next day scratches are still there. Attempt 2: Maybe they missed something so we try again. Attempt 3: Thinking they were going to try something different we bring it in again, but they just keep re buffing making it worse. After calling, waiting for calls back and generally being given the run around for more than a week we arrive at attempt #4. Attempt 4: We are advised they are going to bring the car in and have it sent out to a body shop. We bring it in on a Monday and were told we would get a call once they had been in contact with the body shop. We don't receive a call and therefore called in on Wednesday and are advised that the body shop is waiting for paint....and that we might not have our vehicle back until the coming Monday. So something that the dealer was trying to just buff away now requires us to be without our vehicle for week?! We need our vehicle over the weekend and therefore were offered to take back our vehicle and bring it back in to have it resent out to the body shop. But we are out of patience; we can't bring in our vehicle in 5 times to correct minor detailing. It should have been sent out to the body shop on our second attempt, but Go Mazda was just trying to cut corners. Overall the staff are nice and professional, but nice and professional doesn't mean very much if people don't do what they say they are going to do. It is the simple stuff like call when you say you are going to call and don't make us feel like we need to chase you. Everyone is over the top kind but once the ink dries on the sales documents the true colors begin to show. (The only person who was the same prior to the purchase and after was Sami Zahra; he is genuinely a good guy. Since he isn't putting on a show he doesn't need to keep up an act and therefore remains the same after you have signed everything.) We really wanted to like Go Mazda, but we can't in good conscience give them our business. We will be buying future vehicles and servicing our vehicle elsewhere.
