Bought a vehicle in 2022, I was convinced to buy the Mechanical Breakdown Insurance which would be included in my monthly payment through my loan, even thought I didn’t want it, they assured me it would Mechanical Breakdown Insurance which would be included in my monthly payment through my loan, even thought I didn’t want it, they assured me it would be worth it. When the Insurance reached its kilometre warranty term. I was told that my monthly payments would stay the same and that my warranty was no longer valid. These people con you and lie to you. Be very careful. I will never buy from these people again. More
Beyond discusted with after sale service. Purchased a 2019 Toyota Corolla on Jan.28,2023. Brought it back within 30 days complaining the front passanger brakes were thunking and grinding. Purchased a 2019 Toyota Corolla on Jan.28,2023. Brought it back within 30 days complaining the front passanger brakes were thunking and grinding. They brought me a tiny rock (probably picked up off the garage floor) and told me the brakes are brand new, give them more time and break them in...fast forward to last Monday Sept 11/23, I'm now at Toyota on the Trail (their recommended service location) for a assessment as the issue has NOT resolved. I am billed $185 and told by Devanand Sanal , Go Auto used after market brakes, the front passanger side has failing components, was installed incorrectly and is missing a shim and that new brakes ARE required as no matter how much they rough up the surface this will be a reoccurring problem. (REPLACEMENT = $709) My immediate response is that, NO, Go Auto should be liable for this repair as they refused to help me when I told them something was wrong, to which Devan agreed and even attempted to call them personally when I was having no luck that day getting any kind of assistance with a man named Kirk Rickett. (When asking to speak to anyone other than Kirk, I was told no, he is the highest level and who I need to deal with.) The day came to an end and I picked up my car from Toyota on the Trail with no replacement brake service completed, a diagnostic bill to pay and no response from Go Auto. For an entire week, I reached back out to Kirk Rickett at Go Auto Yellowhead where I was continually brushed off or straight up ignored. He was short with me, rude to me and belittling. On Tuesday, when he asked me via email, "the service manager wants to know what exactly you want them to do, when Toyota has already Rectified the problem..." I knew with certainty I was being taken for a fool. I sent him my response, very clearly stating the issue has absolutely Not been Rectified and that I want the faulty brakes replaced and installed correctly and for Go Auto to cover the cost of those diagnostic fees. I was entirely ignored until today Monday, Sept 18/23), despite my follow up attempts until this morning when I had to call again as I was supposed to show up for replacement parts and installation, but had yet to receive confirmation that this would actually be done. I was told by Kirk that he would call me right back... he instead, emailed me stating he was going into a meeting, but would have access to email... and of course, his delayed response is because he's been away since Thursday. (Note I emailed him Tuesday!) I went back and forth with him ALL DAY. He had NOT bothered to speak to Devan at Toyota and had not made a plan for replacement part services. Now, I am being told I can have new brakes under warranty (Ive put 4000km on these New brakes)but will be billed $150/hour labor. I obviously Didnt agree to this and continued to fight for what's right. Somehow, Kirk has twisted my issue into me insisting that I want ALL The brakes replaced for free.. not once was that even suggested as I was told only the one brake was problematic. Then Kirk switched back to ignore mode, I was forced to call Go Auto AGAIN, where he now tells me service was supposed to have called me and that he cant help me... Eventually, Nas from Go Auto called and says they will reimburse me the diagnostic fees I paid, because, truly, this should not have needed to escalate this far and certainly should not have taken a week to deal with. But they will NOT replace the brake (despite them being under warranty)! Supposedly, Devan is telling them the brakes are fine now that he's corrected the install and they are deemed safe. He also claims he never told me this would be a reoccurring problem. To make a long story slightly shorter.. Go auto does not properly inspect or service their vehicles before sale - Toyota gives you a price tag to fix Go Autos screw ups and Go Autos last word is, "Toyota needs to make money too." DO NOT SHOP WITH GO AUTO -ZERO PIECE OF MIND! More

#goautoyellowheadtrailedmonton So. ... This is going to be a long one....... I had to buy a new vehicle(new to me at least) in Jan 2023. The sale experience itself was great! BUT!!! N ... This is going to be a long one....... I had to buy a new vehicle(new to me at least) in Jan 2023. The sale experience itself was great! BUT!!! Now less than 90days after, there is a horrendous squeal coming from the rear end.... Very probable brake related! Now, those who know me, know my work background.... So when you try and tell me that brakes fail (after they have "passed" your "quality inspection") in less than 2000k since purchase, you know exactly what I'm going to tell you! When you try and tell me that it's a rock or pacify me some other way.... You still know the response you're going to get. I checked the rotor; there's no scoring from a "rock", that horrendous squeal is NOT from outside moisture when it's continuous with it being dry outside..... QUIT TREATING ME LIKE AN IDIOT! 🤬 SO.... when you tell me I have to pay YOU, GO AUTO YELLOWHEAD Trail, $160+TX TO HAVE IT INSPECTED, you know exactly what I'm going to say! When you tell me that IF I have it looked at by any one of the fully licensed, red seal, mechanics I call friend (at no charge I might add) and WHEN I do, you now are no longer RESPONSIBLE...... Guess what I'm going to say🤬🤬🤬 Now, I'm not going to write what you all know I said.... Because frankly my post will be removed, siting that I've gone against "community guidelines"😂🤣😂🤣. Instead I'll say this....... GO AUTO YELLOWHEAD, I MAY LITERALLY ONLY BE 1 PERSON AND MY BLASTING YOU ON EVERY MEDIA PLATFORM I USE WILL MAKE NO DIFFERENCE IN YOUR WORLD..... BUT GUESS WHAT? I KNOW ALOT!!! OF PEOPLE AND THOSE People, KNOW EVEN MORE!!! Have a wonderful day😁 More
RUN FOR THE HILLS ! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. THERE ARE BETTER DEALERSHIPS TO DEAL WITH THEN HERE ! Save yourself a headache and don’t bother buying any vehicles from this p DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. THERE ARE BETTER DEALERSHIPS TO DEAL WITH THEN HERE ! Save yourself a headache and don’t bother buying any vehicles from this place. Once the deal is signed, they don’t give a flying *** about you. We recently bought a truck from here after the deal was done we went to show the truck to some family and friends and right away they pointed out that the back side panel was replaced or fixed up. We are not body mechanics so obviously we didn’t know this and they failed to point this out to us before we signed the paperwork. I was also curious and decided to pull the Carfax and on the Carfax I pulled they also replace/repaired the exhaust on the same side as the panel that was replaced / repaired. This information was not disclosed prior to purchasing the truck and was not on the Carfax that we signed off on so we had no idea until after the paperwork was already side and gone to the bank. We took the truck back to ask some question at first, they acted like they didn’t know and then admitted it had some dents and scratches so it needed to be fixed. Mike (sales manager) and Becker (general manager) told me that they do not have to disclose this information to us, but they’ll fix the problem they admitted it should’ve been fixed before they sold the truck, but again had no remorse towards me as a customer just laughed in my face , rolled their eyes and told me there’s nothing more there gonna do more for us. They had our truck for over a week, we picked it up today and they did absolutely nothing. They slapped a sticker on the side which has bubbles and lines through it and wanted us to sign off on the paperwork. It’s been a huge disappointment dealing with them and now the truck has to go back yet again. They have not gone above or even beyond, their customer service is a joke. Huge red flag when the general manager doesn’t even have the respect to come down from the raised desk area where all the managers sit and talk to me at eye level. But I am honestly not surprised as people just don’t care anymore. Humanity it dead. More
We signed a bill of sale for a BMW 528i XDrive VIN WBA5A7C54GG149478 on Aug 20 and insisted that the sales manager Mahmoud Mouneir (Mike) add "deposit is refundable if inspection fails” and they did. WBA5A7C54GG149478 on Aug 20 and insisted that the sales manager Mahmoud Mouneir (Mike) add "deposit is refundable if inspection fails” and they did. We waited 4 days for the windshield to be changed and then took the car for inspection on 25th. I insisted not to sign a loaner agreement and gave them an expired CC when they asked to photocopy one. For some reason I had no trust in any of them. They all seemed so cheesy to me and I refused to sign on anything other than a bill of sale with conditions. When inspecting the car, the certified BMW mechanic invited me to the shop where he lifted the car to show me the brakes sensors that are disconnected intentionally to stop the car from giving notification that the brake pads are below minimum thickness to the extent that it is unsafe to drive the care out of the shop. In total, he noticed and reported the following: 1- Front right inner pads below minimum thickness 2- Front brake pad disconnected 3- Rear brake pad sensor was broken 4- Battery too low warning is on 5- engine oil service due 6- different brand tires on front and back, and all of them are not BMW approved 7- tires installed are not the BMW size (not 245/45R18) 8- all engine splash shields (front, rear and right and left) are damaged 9- Tented front windows (which is illegal in Edmonton) 10- dents on the roof of the car and scratches on the driver’s door from trying to open the car without having keys and a cut in the dashboard All in all the total cost to fix items 1 to 9 were over $2880. I went back to discuss the findings and they refused to reduce the price or fix the issues or pay the $1000 deposit even with an AMVIC report showing the car failing inspection for brakes. I was lucky enough to fool all of them and drive the car back to home. I insisted to have my money back before I return the car and if they have any doubt in my inspection then they have to wait till I do another inspection. till another one is done. Next day, they called the police to get their car and the police was very understanding and cooperative and they were the one who helped me to get my money back. Unfortunately, I read the Facebook reviews only today to find out I am not the only one who was robbed out of their deposits for different reasons. AMVIC should help those people get their money back or at least prevent this company from taking any client deposits. If this happens to you, file a complaint with AMVIC online, and BBB and call consumer investigation unit at 1-877-427-4088, Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, Advertising Standards Canada (they showed me a clean AMVIC report with no notes on brakes) and ISED Citizen Services Center. I did half of this and will continue Monday with the other half. I am also starting a Global of Edmonton Campaign about them. Yes, I took my money back but they can end up killing someone if they keep selling defaulted cars with fake inspection reports. SAVE YOUR LIFE AND MONEY AND RUN AWAY FROM THEM More
