"Powing Steering"

I had an issue with my power steering in my vehicle. They booked our truck in the next day as it was late in the afternoon. Service got our truck in as soon as they opened. They needed to order parts, it of course was something unusual. Soon as the parts arrived they were on it within the hour. I am so pleased with the experience, with the whole dealership. Even the salesman, sales manager and shop manager was checking on us making sure everything in their power was being done. It was! I am hard to please, but this dealership goes the extra mile every time I need something. (maybe that is why the two largest fleets in the area use them?)

"Gas cap? ABS light?"

Abs light came on so phoned ahead and asked if they could hook up scan tool to get an idea of which abs sensor was at fault. Very good response from service, stop on by and we scan for no charge. Great, got there and was greeted by a young lady holding a $30 scan tool from crappie tire. Advised her it will not read or scan abs codes due to its limited function. She did try however central times and advised me I had a EVAP fault , no engine light on at the time. I asked her to focus on the active abs light on at the time. What happened next blew my mind. She went in and out several times talking to their service tech who told her to tell me that my EVAP emissions system was malfunctioning causing my ABS light to come on. She told me, I laughed n said several key words that confirmed what I thought of their diagnostics. She went inside several times, got another dealer quality scan tool and tried connecting about 6 times with no luck. All the while the senior tech , which could be seen through the glass doors watching her and doing nothing himself , sitting there and chatting with her but he himself not bothering to come out. Apparently they couldn't connect with the $3000 dollar scan tool ? But could with the cheap bargain store scan tool? xxx?.. I left pissed off but couldn't help but laugh that a dealer would tell me a faulty gas cap or vent would cause my abs light to come on!! Wouldn't get them to fix my push mower.. Went to another dealer garage next door, they scanned, front left abs sensor fault, ordered part, will be fixed by them when the parts show up. Time spent there? Less that 8 minutes. Will never take my vehicles to Edwards for service ever again.
