Hello jacob, My name is junaid and I received clock spring recall, I brought my Jeep Wrangler 2010, which is 89000KMS. My horn was working perfectly fine,the clock spring and horn components are very close. All I was saying may be by mistake the mechanic unplugged the horn wire since he was working on the steering wheel to replace clock spring. I talked to John, he wasn't helpful at all and asking me to pay $147 for diagnostic charges, i dont understand why do I have to pay diagnostic fee when it was perfectly working. I also contacted Chrysler head office and my case number is 30668637. And I am sorry I post negative comment but you see my situation, the horn was working and I feel like they forcing me to pay $147 diagnostic fee which is totally unfair. I am student and I cannot afford this extra charges which caused by your mechanic. When I talked to the service advisor michael david that my horn is not working since the clock spring changed, front of me, he called the mechanic inside and the mechanic said yes it was working. He didn't even come outside and talked to me to look into my jeep, how did he remember which vehicle he was talking about ? I would really appreciate if your help me out and get them check my horn wiring. They kept the jeep for overnight, and the next day I picked up my jeep parked in your lot and I drove off.
