I'd like to highlight my experience/nightmare I've been living through for the past 9 months (with my vehicle, Donnelly Kia and Kia Canada as a whole) and preface this review by saying to any potential cus living through for the past 9 months (with my vehicle, Donnelly Kia and Kia Canada as a whole) and preface this review by saying to any potential customers; I would STRONGLY advise against purchasing a Kia. I would encourage you to do your own research regarding the excessive oil consumption issues, the class action lawsuits regarding the GDI engines (one in Canada and some in the USA) as well as spontaneous fires. There are many of us whom have all suffered from engine failure and have had to have an uphill battle via dealerships (this one specifically, in my case) and Kia Canada (in many cases, requests are actually refused and customers are expected to pay out of pocket for a new engine). I literally waited for MONTHS at this dealership to get resolution to my engine issue (from June 2022 to March 2023) which was an absolute battle every. single. step of the way with next to ZERO communication unless initiated by myself. I had to engage with Kia Canada directly who then engaged with the dealership before even agreeing to replace my engine at their expense with communications to me essentially saying that after this brand new engine is installed, we are not responsible for anything moving forward (really..???). Much of this time, I was in limbo without a vehicle and despite being told it would be a 4-6 week wait for my engine replacement, it took 13 weeks. My issues weren't just isolated to simply my engine issue, but also my air conditioning which was no longer functioning after picking my vehicle up after being there for 49 days...for this, Donnelly tried to lay blame on me and have me pay to fix my air conditioning despite it working fine before. After much back and forth they eventually covered the cost as an "exception" with the extended warranty company). Very frustrating. And for those who think this was perhaps an isolated incident, I encourage you to jump down the internet rabbit hole like I did. The results you find might have you reconsider purchasing one of these vehicles. At one point, I was told that Donnelly's had 9 other cars in the back of the dealership that were awaiting a complete engine replacement. 9! That, to me, is just absurd. And before responding to this review with a generic "there are two sides to every story" rebuttal comment, I can assure you that I took the high road the ENTIRE TIME throughout this whole ordeal despite everyone around me telling me that I need to get angry and treat the staff accordingly. I did express frustration on several occasions, but I always communicated in a professional manner with everyone involved. I do feel sorry that this dealership is stuck supporting such a terrible product; but if I can prevent just one person from buying a Kia; my job is done. I am happy to say that this ordeal is over for me as I picked up my vehicle yesterday, went straight from Donnelly's to another dealership to sell my vehicle and purchased a new one and will not be looking back ever again. More

Awful, awful, awful. Zero stars. Within a day of spending $1,200 on new rear brakes and front brake service for a Sedona, worrying noise began from the rear brakes by the Zero stars. Had to wait nine days for an appointment (at 7:30am). It took until 4:30 to be told what the conjured-up issue was. This after getting no return phone calls from earlier voicemails, including one call I made where the service receptionist couldn't track down the 'technician' but said he'd call as soon as he was back in the shop. He didn’t call of course. It is now 1:15 on day 2 and still no communication as to whether the latest $350 repair is complete. There is absolutely zero communication from this place. It's pretty clear that they just don't care. Why returning a phone call is so difficult is beyond me. UPDATE: After leaving a voicemail around 1:30 on day 2 got a call back at 2:30 stating 'awaiting parts' (these are supposedly parking brake brake shoes). They will try to have vehicle ready for 2pm of day 3. It is now day 4. Vehicle finally ready. Of course I have to pay for this latest repair; one that was, at worst, a result of shoddy work replacing the rear brakes; at best, something that should have been seen when the rear brakes were being replaced. Needless to say, I will not be returning here with this Sedona. Or my son’s Sorento (purchased here). Similarly, I won’t have my Mitsubishi Outlander serviced next door. This after buying two Outlanders from them since 2013, with a third on order (which I will be cancelling), and spending tens of thousands of dollars on servicing alone. Of course Donnelly doesn’t care – THAT’s the Donnelly Difference. More

I like the staff and the manager at Kia. They are pleasant and friendly but the business side of it I have issues with. They said Monday they would look at it (couple of days later) which was fine with us. Monday comes and they say it’s the catalytic converter and don’t bother getting it fixed it’s not worth it on a car that old. We say we already bought a new car so what would you give us for it. I am told 500 bucks but talk to sales and they can get you more if you put it towards a new car. I speak to sales and they are great. Very interested in the new sportage. After a delay so the sales guy can help out his family we get to the price and what is available. The options and colour my wife wants is impossible to get I am told. So we say I get it we will hold off for now and just sell you the soul. I get no response so it’s head into the dealer. When I get there I am told they probably don’t want it but wait to speak to the manager. He is currently with a customer so I wait over an hour to speak to him. Eventually I see him leaving around the side and the sales guy comes over and says ya they don’t want it. When I asked what changed they say we will only give you the 500 if you buy something from us. I get that is the business but that isn’t what was said so it was a ploy to try and get us into a new car. The funny part is we were still very much interested in a new Kia but after this not so much…. Whatever you do just get it in writing. Them being pleasant and friendly is great but business is business. More

His time estimate was pretty close. The interactions between the two service check-in people were cheerful and respectful. Waiting area had comfortable seats and complimentary snacks, coffee, water and soft drinks. The invoice was explained clearly. This is a really comfortable dealership to visit, get service at and to buy from. More

First of all I would like to thank Robert for his over the top service he gave to my husband and I. We went to other dealerships but did not get close to the service we did a Kia.
