SSURPRISE Purchase!! My husband had been window shopping for a new truck for quite a few months and after every dealer visit we still felt the need to continue shopping be My husband had been window shopping for a new truck for quite a few months and after every dealer visit we still felt the need to continue shopping be it for rates, future service and maintenance or just the right Brand for us. While visiting Nova Scotia we drove through the parking lot of the Dartmouth location after hours and as it happened the General Manager was exiting the building and offered assistance, WOW!!! After hours service shows true dedication and commitment to customer service. He offered much information and answered all of our questions and left an impression that made us want to visit again and we did!! About three months later we were flying out of Halifax for a family vacation and went to the dealership and were referred to the wonderful Greg Collins!! This added to an already exceptional experience with the Dartmouth location. It was very obvious to us that Greg was well aware of what Dodge had to offer us and gave us his commitment to back it up. After a lengthy discussion with Greg my husband was feeling quite confident that this was going to be his vehicle of choice but we had no time before our flight to complete the deal. Before leaving town I contacted Greg and told him we would be purchasing the vehicle he had shown my husband and I wanted it to be a Surprise on our return. We left town and with a few texts and emails Greg managed to pull of the ultimate surprise!! Greg contacted my husband to let him know we had won a prize draw from our previous visit and when we arrived to pick up "the prize" Greg and the staff had the new Dodge Ram dressed just as we had discussed before our trip, complete with a Big Red Bow! My husband was completely surprised and thanks to Greg everything went exactly as planned!!! It's in the job description of the Sales Associates to sell the vehicle and other related products I'm sure but to go above and beyond that and arrange such a surprise deal while corresponding from outside the country I'm confident is definitely going above and beyond. Every time I've been in the dealership for any kind of service or anything like that he always makes sure I am taken care of and everything is all good. My insurance was messed up so Wayne and Doug Wilson arranged for me to drive my Jeep on a dealer plate Canada day long weekend rather than it sitting on the lot until it was cleared up. Horrible Service!!!! I dropped my 2012 ram off at 8am. Told them to replace my fan belt because its squealing. Also its running all the time and i'm pretty sure the fan cl I dropped my 2012 ram off at 8am. Told them to replace my fan belt because its squealing. Also its running all the time and i'm pretty sure the fan clutch is gone. sounds like a transport truck while driving. My 4x4 is also not working properly and explained what was happening. They called back at 2:30 and said the fan is fine and the 4x4 is fine. But they did notice i needed a new fan belt and asked if i wanted it replaced!! Well i asked you to replace it already so yes. what about the fan clutch?? she said she would call me back. at 4:30 I got a call saying the fan clutch is not the problem and truck is running fine. So i go pick my "not so fine" ram up to find my receipt has a description highlighting how a fan clutch works!!! Well Maybe instead of taking the time to highlight my receipt she and the horrible mechanic should have googled how to tell if a fan clutch works! Because me and my brother did. I paid out of my own pocket from there parts department for a fan clutch, Which the sales associate responded...This "should" be under warranty...LOL! Thats what i would have thought. I got the part today for $262.20. My brother and i put it on in the driveway and now the truck sounds great. Except the 4x4 still isn't working properly. Thanks for nothing Dartmouth dodge!!!! If this is the kind of service you get with a dodge warranty then my advise is shop elsewhere! More
