Almost bought a new VW here, but then they pulled a fast one Went at the end of April to discuss buying my 5th Volkswagen. Salesman Conor was first class all they way, friendly, and helpful but possibly the only positive asset this dealership has. They looked at my car and made one offer at that time. The second time I went back just less than 2 months later, they dropped the value of my trade-in by $5000. When I asked for a explanation they could not give one. I told the new car sales manager Willie that it felt like a 'bait and switch' to me. He neither tried to confirm or deny this. I called and reported it to Volkswagen who said they would look into it. They later contacted me and said the dealership sighted some rust that was on the car - the exact same rust that was there 2 months earlier. Willie blamed the difference on Regan Robbins the pre-owned sales manager and I told him it was still BS. I don't know who from Dalmar evaluated my car on the first visit, but the second time I was there they brought in a guy from a used car lot down the road. I told Volkswagen they should question the ethics of that type of business relationship. If you must buy here deal with Conor but don't trust what they say about the value of your trade-in until the day you are going to hand over your money and sign the contract! More
