Hi little1, Purchasing a vehicle is supposed to be more of the more fun experiences to go through and I apologize that it hasn't been that kind of experience for you. I do appreciate you sharing your story of your experience with our dealership and I wouldn't ask you to say anything but the truth and how you feel about it. I don't expect any kind of second chance or anything the like, but I would like to be able to see if there is anything I can do to have this not become an issue in the future, or see if there is anything at all that I can do to help this situation or attempt to make it up to you. I don't expect you to retract anything at all nor change your opinion of us but I would love the opportunity to see if there is anything at al that I may be able to do to specifically help you and keep anything like this from happening again in the future. Might I know what kind of vehicle it is that you own and perhaps a few more details to see what I may be able to find out for you and myself? Hi Crowfoot, Thank you very much for taking the time to reply to my review. My intent was not to get anyone in trouble, or to bash Crowfoot. I just hope to save someone like me the trouble that I myself experienced. Not to say that everyone has the same experience that I had. I purchased the 2012 Jeep Compass used in mid November. Right away the engine light kept coming on. I didn't like that they kept asking me to book an appointment just to get the code, when I know very well how simple it is to hook the little thing up (on the weekend they said there was no tech guys). It's really inconvenient to have to keep coming in early for service appointments and such. There was a new services guy named Shaun and he was really nice enough to help me even though the other guy refused to do anything at all. I was very nervous because I'm not great with cars and I'm not very assertive. So everytime I'd go in, I'd be nervous they would try to charge me the diagnostic fee or, as they like to say, "if it's covered under warranty, you only have to pay the deductible" which really, sucks either way. They had to fix 2 sensors and I get that it's not the biggest problem I could have. But buying a used vehicle from a dealership, I had really hoped to not have these car worries. I ended up going to Varsity to see if they could help me and they bought back my car and sold me another vehicle. I understand that even a brand new car can have problems. I just wish that I had someone on my side, as I definitely didn't feel that way at crowfoot. I got to the point really quickly, that I just didn't even like my car anymore and was more of a source of stress. My old car was a 1996 Ford Explorer and the problematic Compass had me missing the old Ford lol. In trading in my Compass I also came to realize how much I was overcharged for some piece of mind (warranty). And also wished that I had the option to forgo the "security" panel thing. As really, I wouldn't care if my car got stolen, that's what insurance is for right? LOL. I wish I could have had a different experience. I just wanted to get a newer car that would hopefully not have any issues for a long time. I'm sorry for my negative review/experience. I'm just not sure what you could do to help at this point since I don't have the Compass anymore. But again, I really appreciate your response.

Hi little1, It's specifically what I'm here for and I would like to make sure that these things don't happen again at all if I can help it and I wish that I had been able to help with this before now. Regardless if you have the compass or not I would still like to see exactly what happened and what I may be able to do here either to prevent it from ever happening again, or to try and make this up for you. It really is my job to try and make sure anyone who has any contact with our dealership is as happy as possible and this obviously hasn't happened for you. Be it with the deal itself, or with whatever has happened since I would love to see what I can do about this. May I ask which sales person you had dealt with or when it was purchased so that I may be able to find the deal? If not I completely understand but I would really like to make sure this kind of thing doesn't happen.

I am also going to speak with our used car managers Harp and Perry and see what I may be able to find out from them. I just wouldn't feel like I was doing my job if I didn't, If I can do anything at all here, regardless of what it may be, I will certainly try and make it happen.

Aww well that's really nice of you. I wish I dealt with you when I was there. I asked for a manager and they just gave me a sales manager I believe. I bought the Jeep Compass on nov 14th ish from Heinrich Zahn, but he's at varsity now. He was great. I had no issues at all with him. I actually bought my Cherokee from him at varsity. You can look me up by name if you like, Jasmine Santos. Apologies for making your job difficult!
