It's boxing week, my son had just finished a nightshift rotation and needed an oil change and a troubleshoot on his 2007 Avalanche before leaving to a southern ontario destination. I offered to let him get rotation and needed an oil change and a troubleshoot on his 2007 Avalanche before leaving to a southern ontario destination. I offered to let him get some sleep and called Crosstown for an appointment to look at his vehicle. I explained the circumstances and the service rep said bring it in as soon as posible and they would jump through all the hoops to get him on his way. That was excellent, call at the last minute and they jumped right in. I was waiting for the diagnoses and was looking around at vehicles when I was greeted by Steve Jacklin. After some casual conversation Steve asked if I had tested any of the new trucks from Chevrolet, I hadn't. Steve checked with service to see how long the service would be...another hour. Steve suggests, take a vehicle home for a test drive and return when my son's vehicle was ready, no pressure, you like it we can talk, you don't no pressure, catch you next time, why not, I agreed, Steve brought the vehicle around, went with me to the gas station, gassed up, and I was on my way. To make a long story longer, my wife and I took a drive, I called back and asked them to put a price together to look at on my return. When I returned everthing was in place, James Goudreau, walked me through the package explaining every detail, James took his time and made sure I fully understood what I was buying. I returned the day after next to pickup the vehicle with my wife and James went through the whole process again with my wife. It was a pleasure to deal with James, very relaxed and easy to deal with. So, from a service urgent request, to purchase, to pick up, to a hand shake and thank you from the dealership owner I cannot beleive the process could be any better.
