I can't look into anything unless I have an actual name used during the service but years don't mean anything. What was the measurement of the pads is the important point, what if a caliper seized and caused premature wear or if the vehicle was driven a higher than normal mileage in that time. If the oil change was done in the quick lube they don't take the tires off, they will measure the brakes using a measuring bar through the wheel. This shows the amount of pad left but doesn't determine if there are other problems that may have caused that wear. Hello Tim I have looked into you concern. From what I have found you brought your vehicle back to us 7 months and 20,000 km's after we replaced your radiator. To find the leak he had to pressure test your system. Once the leak was found he had to remove the upper rad support to access the area, adjusted the hose and clamp, added coolant from the shop which we provide at no cost, re-pressure tested your system again to make sure this repaired the problem, and then had to put everything back together again. If the leak was there since we worked on it you would have had no coolant in the system and this would have been a problem much, much, earlier. Unfortunately -40 degree temperatures tend to reek havoc on everything never the less, we billed an hour for a job the technician spent an hour on. I believe you were handled fairly but if you still have concerns that you wish to discuss please contact our service manager, Clint Thompson, and he will be more than happy to discuss them with you. Hello Doug. It is unfortunate we were unable to duplicate the concern you seem to be having with your truck. It was roadtested but ran perfectly. After scanning and finding no faults in any of the vehicles on-board diagnostic system, there is really no reliable way to diagnose the concern. Diagnostics require a starting point and with your vehicle working perfectly both for the technician and as per it's computer, it makes it impossible to find the fault.
