This company is extremely frustrating to deal with. They sold me a warranty that was supposed to be ending in a few years, but made a mistake on their system and applied a warranty that ends this June! More

Hello Sebastien, I am not sure where the miscommunication has come from, but I just checked with our finance department and Alex added a 3year/60,000 km Gold and Powertrain warranty to your vehicle in mid-May. Hello Geoff, This is the warranty that is incorrect and is less than what I expected/paid for. I added you and other managers to my email with Bara last night since Bara has done nothing but ignore my emails. The warranty code that is supposed to be applied and that I have paid $4,560 for is code 419 which has a 7 years and 115 thousand km warranty. Please correct. If you cannot apply what I have paid for, please refund me $4,560.00.

Bara has contacted me yesterday and I called him today. He told me that the General Manager has confirmed that “the best warranty as already been applied” I told him I don’t care what the manager thinks is the best warranty and I want the warranty that Is on my warranty paperwork that I was paid for! If you cannot apply what I have paid for, please refund me $4,560.00. This is also filed with Better Business Bureau and posted on several platforms to show that Capital Jeep is frauding its customers by not applying products they are paying for!

Hello Giovanni, after reading your review I have taken the time to speak with both technicians that looked at your 2014 Grand Cherokee, as well as your advisor and our service manager to gather as much information as I could. All though I do not agree with a couple of your points, I do agree that we have made errors in this case and not lived up to yours or our expectations. I also want to point out that this is not common for us and that you have brought your vehicle to us 12 other times for unrelated concerns and maintenance prior to this, so we must have provided good service for you to continue to return. On February 20th you brought your Jeep in for us to look at a potential problem with your transmission shifting. The technician that looked at your vehicle that day misdiagnosed your problem, and this is the reason for your confusion and inconvenience since. Mistakes happen, and all we can do after that initial error is to properly diagnose your concern for you. This is what our service manager Clint Thompson did for you when he lifted your vehicle on a hoist, brought you out there with our shop foreman and another technician, and showed you what they were seeing. Your vehicle was driven twice since the original repair order and the flare that was noted is normal for your 8 speed transmission when cold. You misunderstood Clint with regards to warming up the vehicle. This has nothing to do with temperature. There is a pump inside the transmission that requires approximately a half a minute to build up the fluid pressure that is needed for proper shifting. The sweating power steering lines have nothing to do with your shifting concern and aren't considered a warrantable concern by Chrysler who sets the warranty parameters, but they came to our attention due to the misdiagnosis of the transmission lines on the first inspection. I hope this explanation has helped in some way but if you still disagree and wish to discuss it further, please reach out to Clint Thompson at 780-434-5624 and he will do his best to address your concerns. I appreciate your reply, Geoff in hopes of getting to the bottom of this. Just few things about your reply: 1. As for the 12 times visits, most of those visits were from the free oil changes that I received because I bought the vehicle at Capital Jeep. This was back in 2015/16. I may have come once or twice since then. Feel free to share with the public the days when I came and what I came for. 2. Warming up has everything to do with temperature that is the definition of warming up (and cooling down). There is nothing in my owners manual that states I have to warm up the vehicle for the pump to build-up pressure. I most certainly didn't have to do this when the transmission was new. Also, "This has nothing to do with temperature. There is a pump inside the transmission that requires approximately a half a minute to build up the fluid pressure that is needed for proper shifting." Are you familiar with the correlation between temperature and viscosity and pressure? And if you are not, that is OK because this is why you have factory trained technicians. Your factory trained technician confirmed the transmission issue and provided a solution to repair it (and it was not to "warm" up the vehicle). Now, why you are ignoring the diagnosis from your factory trained technician are you saying that he also made a mistake? So 2 technicians made mistakes? Maybe its a good thing you cannot/are not fixing my vehicle!

Hello Mike, I apologize for your wasted time. In Alberta previous ownership is not necessary when registering a vehicle and we were under the understanding that Ontario was the same. The second part of your concern left me a bit confused though because it is my understanding that when you reached out to your salesperson yesterday and made him aware of our error, that he sent you the necessary paperwork on the same day. It’s unfortunate I had to resort to this review to get a response as I have called the dealership over a dozen times, no one has confirmed that the ownership’s have been mailed and no copy or it was emailed to me as requested, I do apologize if you didn’t know about needing a copy in Ontario as I was told you had shipped cars all over Canada including Ontario,, but regardless can you please confirm the ownership is on its way and I am certain you have a copy on file that you can email. Hello Curtis, we replace and repair any safety related items ensuring that all the used vehicles we sell are safe to drive as per AMVIC standards. Replacing everything that would be required to get a seven-year-old vehicle with 170,000 km's to like new condition would be unrealistic and drive the industry used vehicle prices higher than they already are. No one said anything about new condition already trying to deflect yes if new condition was wanted would be way more than what didnt pass inspection at ok tire ......are you saying 40000 on a used gas vehicle with 170000kms id not enough money to put out a safe reliable vehicle to a customer ? You guys kept calling me back after i walked out 3 times on other vehicles and deals ...... i told you i need a truck that i am not going to have to do any repairs for a long time your dealership said you have just the truck for that and it passed ispection with flying colors in your guys words .....i asked for it to go through shop again have everything looked at again because i dont want a vehicle i have to repair if i am spending over 40000 you guys did and told me it passed again with flying colors...... i took truck to ok tire and all fluids in truck are burnt and dicolored , there is a hole in radiator , rotors are all warped and burnt calipers are seizing pads are almost done and battery is toast which they showed me personally .....so why wouldnt you state what you just said before i purchased instead of lying and hiding issues with truck ? Oh yeah becuse you know and i know i would have walked out not have purchased this thats why .........but as your statement made you obviously knew there were issues but you guys lied instead of mentioning any of these for going through your shop 2 times and pasing with flying colors in your words , not one issue was brought to my attention when i asked i was told it passed with flying colors and would not need any work as capital stated to me . Are you saying i am lying about these issues or what was said to me at dealership ? Are you saying ok tire is lying about these issues they showed me personally ?
