Compromise: you should try it sometime I sold my VW Tiguan over the past weekend. I called Capilano VW to get my winter tires for the new owners. They said tires available on Weds, which is I sold my VW Tiguan over the past weekend. I called Capilano VW to get my winter tires for the new owners. They said tires available on Weds, which is 4 days later, but ok. I visited the parts desk Tues to tell them the name of the purchaser picking up the tires. He informed me that the tires are there. The purchaser drove from Chilliwack to pick up the tires, but arrived after the parts desk was closed, so no tires. I spoke with the Parts Mgr this morning. Very UNHELPFUL. I asked if the tires could be transported to Langley, half way. He said he didn't have the capacity to assist. I said a guy, the tires and a car for 90 minutes. He was not at all interested in discussing a compromise solution. The parts guy yesterday didn't make any comment about when the tires are available for pick up, if he had, I would have passed that information onto the purchaser. This is not my first bad experience with Capilano VW. Loved my VW. Capilano VW, not so much. More

Have had 4 Volkswagen's over the last 10 years and the frustration in trying to bring them in for servicing is beyond belief. You will never be able to talk to someone in service to book an appointment. You must leave a message and wait for them to call you back when it is convenient for them - not you!!!!!! Thought online would be better but NOOOO!!!!! You still must wait for them to call you back. Ridiculous - have owned many other vehicles - Mazda, Lexus, Honda, Acura and almost always someone in service answers the phone and is able to book your appointment immediately. Some people work and are unable to take calls so not convenient at all for me. I will never buy another Volkswagen if I have to have it serviced in North Vancouver. More

I tried few more times and still the same i checked their website to make sure their part department is open and yes they were open. More

Expensive and Arrogant The most expensive stealership in town. People, cars dont cost the same everywhere. Do your homework and try at least two dealers. We went to the sales manager and wanted to talk about his best deal. When he saw I did not catch on the usual tricks they apply to inexperienced people he asked what my plan was. I told him I will find the invoice price ( that is how much the dealership paid for the car) and negotiate up from there. He very arrogantly said that was not possible and he would not move down from the MSRP. Well, I did find the invoice price and there was 2600$ difference between that and the MSRP. I went to 3 other dealerships and finally at Open Road VW I paid only 1200$ above the invoice price and less than 2200 $ than what Capilano wanted for the same car. So, Mr. Manager Ezharie , there is a way and there are dealers who wanted my business. At the MSRP it says with small letters, dealers can sell for less, and they ( but not you) did. Now my wife has the new Tiguan from another dealership. And this is the second time. The first time in 2012 i bought my Golf Wagon TDI from Clarkdale and not from Capilano, for the same reason - expensive and arrogant. On the service they will put different oil in your car. Just went now Oct.14, 2017 to ask about the oil for my wife's brand new 2018 Tiguan. The guy did not even know about 508.00 oil spec even existed and they have been selling the car and he said they have putting the old 502.00 with viscosity 5w40 in it. The manual and the sicker in the engine bay, clearly says the standard VW 508.00 and viscosity 0W20. Unbelievable! You decide if you bring your car there. Another dealership not only knew, but they had the oil in stock. I would like to thank Shaun for his time and attention while we test drove the new Atlas and Tiguan. We wanted to be your clients, but not at that price providing there so many other competitors. More
