Cambridge Kia said on 07/10/2014 11:22 AM (Private Message) I have looked into your concern. I am sorry that this repair was inconvenient and time consuming for you. A customer should not have return as many times as you did for the same repair. We had informed you there would be additional charge for labour not covered by your extended warranty. This is an issue you had with the selling dealer and what was or was not explained to you when you purchased the warranty. Because the handle was stripped we were able to reinstall the handle until we had the correct parts, it was not left off because it would be easier for us. This type of repair on your car is time consuming. The inside door panel had to be removed on each one of you visits. It takes almost an hour to take off and then put back. We were unable to tell that we were sent the wrong part from the VW dealer until we removed the panel inspect the old part with the new part. The complete job is approximately a 3-4 hour job. Have had to repeat it a few times, so your combined wait time was longer than would have been expected. I understand how this is frustrating for everyone involved both the tech working on the car as well as yourself. In the future you may wish to take advantage of our shuttle service, we can never tell when there could be an unseen problem. Again I am sorry this repair did not go as smoothly as it should have. I assure you I will personal try my best to insure you do not have similar problems dealing with us in the future and we are looking forward taking care of any of your service needs.
