Having been in retail sales and marketing for over 50 years I discovered that after the sweet taste of owning anything new, can quickly goes sour when Having been in retail sales and marketing for over 50 years I discovered that after the sweet taste of owning anything new, can quickly goes sour when you are faced with poor after sale acknowledgement, and service. So many businesses spend a lot of money training sales sales staff to be more knowledgeable and effective, but do not focus on "after sale" service and followup. When my wife purchased her new 2015 Ford Escape from your dealership her salesman, Clayton Masur, was very helpful with the selection of the right vehicle. Whenever we have gone in for servicing we have always been accommodated in an efficient manner. When there was a problem the dealership was proactive,(very important) and corrected it. We would, and have recommended Cam Clark Ford for your next car purchase. note:The key to selling, I have found, is more about listening and asking questions, than trying to impress with too much information. As a customer, being remembered is very important for a continuing relationship. (ask anyone that is married!!) More

Went in to get 5 things done to my truck, f150 I had my truck booked in to get 5 things done, 1) the water pump was making noise 2) an oil change 3) tire rotation 4) replace a tire sensor 5) check I had my truck booked in to get 5 things done, 1) the water pump was making noise 2) an oil change 3) tire rotation 4) replace a tire sensor 5) check the trailer tow fault. A couple days later, a different service rep called me and quoted me $1880.00 to do the work, i felt this was quite high, she then said that my back brakes were shot. Alright i said go ahead. Then another call saying my transfer case was leaking, she quoted me a couple more 100 bucks, go ahead i told her. So a week later, the day im on my way for a 2000 km road trip, she calls and says my truck is ready. I go thru the invoice with her and see its for 1700 or so. The water pump was changed, back brakes replaced, and transfer case seal replaced. I asked about the other 4 items that i wanted done, but she had no idea. I told her i saw the guy who booked in my truck write them down. She was confused and then a quick look in a file box she pulled out some papers and there it was, the paper the other guy wrote on. I was a little upset and getting mad because now i have to get on road with an oil change due, and tire rotation needed. I paid and left, then went and had an oil change and hit the highway. In my mind this is absolutely xxxxty service. I will not ever be back at that dealership for service or sales. More
