Hi, I don't really like leaving negative reviews, and I am more than willing to change this review to 5 stars if we can come to a resolution that we are all happy with. I was talking to Blake about an employee that I now know is a "former" employee. it was not Ed that I had much of an issue with as he did not do the financing part. The only reason why I included Ed on this review is because this is my first time reviewing on this site and it asked me to check off all employees I dealt with (and Robyn Wright is the primary cause of the 1 star, but was not in the list) The reason I resorted to posting this review is because I made multiple attempts to contact Blake, and after more than a week of attempts and at least two messages I received one callback then had to persist in trying to reach him again a week later, only to be forwarded to someone else... I'm sorry, I don't remember her name... but I became furious after my conversation with her as she was unwilling to listen to me. I'll start from the beginning in case this is someone else reading this.... I purchased a ford Edge 5 years ago from Cam Clark ford through Ed Wan and Robyn Wright. I made it "Very Clear' that I ONLY wanted 5 years of payments. and going through the paperwork, Robyn insisted that this was ONLY 5 years, regardless of how it's worded. I'm not very familiar with this kind of deal since I'm usually buying out vehicles straight out with cash rather than financing. And in the case of my previous vehicle, the financing and sales people were straight forward and honest with me. One would think that you should be able to trust the people who want your business so that you can come back to buy more in the future yes? So it was financed.... she insisted it was 5 years then done... and in turn I received 5 years of warranty and 5 years of Pepaid maintenance service through Ford and I left the dealership happy. 5 years later... I receive a letter from the bank saying there is an outstanding balance owing and they are going to renew my payments for another THREE years at a HIGHER interest rate. This came as one very painful surprise as I had plans to go back to Ed this year because my wife needs a car. Now I CANT buy my wife a car, because i'm now stuck paying for a car that was as Robyn Wright insisted will be FINISHED in 5 years.... Not 7.5.... not 8..... 5 years. So now I feel that I need to bring a lawyer to go through the documentation that I know I don't understand... just to make sure i'm not being ripped off.... please explain to me how this isn't lying to the customer to get a commission please? I already explained this to Blake and gave him an opportunity to dig up documentation and look into it. My original hope was to have him return my call so that we can talk about what we can do to resolve this issue. But he didn't call me back. He had someone else call me back whom was shoving hard at me to refinance. Well I wasn't much interested in refinancing but she kept shoving it at me.... I told her what I was more interested in (which really isn't asking much and i'll write it below) and she kept changing the subject back to refinance and ignoring me. after three times she ignored me she said she would call me back on a refinance deal.... I just gave up and said fine.... ........ she did NOT call me back. after a few days of waiting I got sick of playing phone tag and wrote this review. What I am asking for.... is..... the damage is already done. I'm now going to be suffering 3 years of hardship because I can't buy a car for my wife now, so there is going to be 3 years where half the time I won't have a vehicle when I need it for work because I now can't afford to have a second vehicle for the family. While the payments of this vehicle are NOT going to be finished... my Warranty and Prepaid maintenance services will be expiring at the end of this month.... all I was going to ask if for possibly an extension of either or both of these. It does not even have to be the full 3 years... Robyn Wright originally offered me an extension to 7 years. Perhaps it's only fair that I receive some extension to these services to help ease the damage that there is still payments going beyond what I said was a dealbreaker? I don't think i'm asking for much, and I was extremely upset that the person who called me back on behalf of Blake was unwilling to listen to me so I was fed up of playing phone tag at this point. I appreciate the gesture bit this issue had a deadline to it and the former General manager knew about it. After multiple attempts to get this issue resolved the former manager chose to stall out and ignore me knowing i would be forced to go away after my warranty expired. It is now 6 months too late and it has been a hard lesson learned that sometimes a salesman showing a great deal is not willing to be up front and inform of the most important part of the agreement. Instead pushing for a sale then moving on pretending nothing happened. I am not sure if you have access to the private response to this review but it has all the details listed there. Thank you
