Used SUV Purchase I have been contemplating to purchase a SUV for some time. My old car was 12 years old and started to cost me more than its worth. Browsing the websit I have been contemplating to purchase a SUV for some time. My old car was 12 years old and started to cost me more than its worth. The Dealership experience Financed a used '13 Ram 1500 truck here and the boss had it at his home (so always call ahead). First thing I noticed was a huge crack along the front splash guard, of course I'd already left the lot and it was well hidden. There was a rotten apple found underneath the rear seat after it was detailed by the dealership and it also needed an oil change. Thanks guys! The finance guys added in extra 'stuff' like 'security etching' even though I asked not to include it. Word to the wise: never pay for the AMVIC registration tell them 'you register the sale, I'm not paying for it.' Obviously as with any dealership they like to add tons of extra fees courtesy of the finance department so next time I walk into a dealership I will try and deal with fleet sales or walk away when the games start. Overall a good sales experience, Dan Fletcher was cool to work with but once you walk in the Finance Office it's a different story (like all dealerships) to top it off they told me I should register with a Chrysler Dealer and of course any fees will come out of my pocket. Sleazy car salesmen stereotypes We purchased a used dodge grand caravan. We were told it had Bluetooth and nav. We brought the thing home. It had neither. So I called and called and called and finally my call was returned. Thomas Powell agreed to get Bluetooth installed at the dodge dealership. So I arranged for dodge to call Thomas to confirm details. 2 weeks later, mr. Powell won't call back the dodge dealership or myself. It seems he's always "stepping out for a meeting". I'm not trying to get extras or get something special. I have no desire to screw over someone to get something. I would just like Thomas Powell to fulfill his promises. More

Brandon helped me find a Hyundai Accent in a relaxed way. He was able to get me a very good price on the Accent I was interested in, because it had some hail damage (which the vehicle report had missed and since the car was new on the lot and under snow, it was impossible for Brandon to know about it). Once we reached a deal, I made it clear to Brandon that it was my limit on my budget for this purchase, and that I wanted the agreed price to include all fees and if he could please guide me through the process to stick to that budget. I didn't get any pressure from him or the financial managers to add extras. I was also treated all along with great courtesy, even though I was buying cheap. Brandon was pleasant, kind, thorough, very respectful and kept to his word of keeping me on budget through the buying process. This whole experience is making me seriously rethink the value of the private market for used vehicles: at Calgary Huyundai it took me just 3 easy days to buy an Alberta-owned car, the car was thoroughly checked for safety and quality (I still did an independent inspection because we may not have the same objectives when checking out the vehicle), and with all the extras I feel I was ahead of the game compared to the private market. The car was spotless inside out, had a full tank, has some warranties, and everything is in working order. And even though I was buying cheap because of the hail damage, the car is fantastic. I regularly have to buy and resell vehicles because our needs change and I will certainly first have a look at Calgary Hyundai next time. More

Dealing with Fujii is an absolute pleasure, Honestly, Integrity and friendliness are just a few of his many great qualities. The vehicles that are in their inventory are high quality and some of if not the best priced value wise and quality wise than any other dealer has to offer. It was a tough decision over a Ford Mustang GT or the Ford Escape, but in the end the wife won the coin toss and my Mustang dreams will have to wait a few more years. Drove the Mustang and it was incredible, actually surprised no one has bought it yet because it is a fair price and in incredible condition! More
