Sold me a lemon and now getting the run around I bought a 2019 Explorer in December and in January a knocking noise started in the front end. We have been back and forth numerous times since withou I bought a 2019 Explorer in December and in January a knocking noise started in the front end. We have been back and forth numerous times since without it being fixed. They re- torqued all the bolts in the front end and not fixed. They replaced the steering gear and not fixed. They replaced the complete sub frame and not fixed. Now I am here sitting in the showroom after they replaced the left and right lower control arms and it still isn’t fixed. A big problem with this is that each time the service department tells us it is fixed, we drive it and the noise is still there. I am questioning if they are even properly road testing it. This can be confirmed by a previous experience with Cabot on the truck that I traded for this explorer. My brakes were done here at Cabot, they told us it was done, and when my wife picked it up there was a crunching noise from the back tires. They let her leave the lot with the e-brake hanging up. Here it is now April (over 4 months later) and I am still getting the run around from these guys … enough is enough. Next step is a lawyer I guess More

Bad shopping experience My first vehicle! I did not have enough information about lease, finance,... and I was a little in rush to have a car because of my newborn, and this My first vehicle! I did not have enough information about lease, finance,... and I was a little in rush to have a car because of my newborn, and this was enough for them to sell me whatever they want! They ask me my maximum budget and wrote down everything; but, they finally push me to a condition that was almost twice as my afford! I was not given enough information, the contract was not reviewed for me. I just relied on our conversation and signed the contract. Unfortunately, it was much different from what I expected! Anyway, a suggestion, do as much research as you can before going for shopping. Do not rely on anybody other than your eyes. Do not rush and review everything before signing. And be aware that their first priority is selling car, not helping you! More
Disappointing Service! I have had the worst experience with this company in my 12 years of vehicle ownership. I leased a brand new Lincoln MKC last year (2017), and took it I have had the worst experience with this company in my 12 years of vehicle ownership. I leased a brand new Lincoln MKC last year (2017), and took it for a checkup on a slight noise that I was hearing from one of the wheels when applying the brake. They got back to me this afternoon saying that the rear brake pads and rotors need to be replaced! It was quite surprising and frustrating that I need to replace my brakes, given that I only have 14,000 km mileage on this new vehicle. I know my driving habit and believe that my driving is so gentle to cause the pads to wear this fast. The average life of brake pads is between 30,000-50,000 km depending on the driving habit, but I really don't know what poor quality pads they installed on a brand new vehicle, so to get the customers in for service and charging them a great deal of money ($661 for my case). Very disappointing service! More
They treat you like family instead of a customer I just purchased a 2017 Ford Escape . The kindness and patience I was shown as I decided on my vechile was next to none. Scott sat with me and took me through every question I might have had, never making me feel either question was too small to ask. His patience and kindness made buying such a large purchase much easier. Doug who took care of the financial part of the deal made me feel like he was my brother. He was so kind , making sure I understood every detail Of the contract and getting every discount I could. Making such a large purchase was very difficult for me, but dealing with Scott and Doug made me confident that I made the right choice. Thank you to you both! More

Everyone at Cabot Ford was very friendly and my salesman Carl Kavanagh was the best. He was knowledgeable about all the options on the vehicles I looked at and patiently explained those features without being pushy. Then on delivery, he came out in the rain to show my husband and me how to use all the gadgets on my new vehicle giving us time to understand and practice using them, sometimes showing us over again. We are senior citizens so need more time to understand all of this. Thank you Carl for such excellent service and thank you to all the people at Cabot Ford who made this big purchase pleasant. More
