Timing belt on a 10 year old Sante Fe I had the timing belt replaced on my 2005 Hyundai Sante Fe. Its the 3.5L engine timing belt, which costs so much more that the 2.7L. I checked around and found Burlington Hyundai to be reasonable, so I let them do it. As they were taking the engine apart, they came across a cracked oil pan and radiator. Both were fixed for just a small amount more. I was even shown the broken parts. As well, my air conditioning which wasn't working before, started working again after the service. Service advisor Garrett is a great guy. Straight forward and pleasant to deal with. More

My car is just 2 weeks old. 1200km driven. Last night the check engine light had come on. I was not called back until 4:45pm, which obviously was too late to be seen, and told to call back the same # no had one answered this morning. I now have to do without my car for the weekend. More
Inflated Service Fee Couldn't believe they wanted me to service my car, which has only 12,000 kms with a $400. service fee. I'm taking my car to a local mechanic and following only factory recommended maintenance. Burlington Hyundai is obviously milking customers big time with inflated service costs. More

How to mess up the simplest repair. Bought my car at Brantford Hyundai and received great service the 3 times I needed work done. Decided to try the local shop in Burlington on the weeke Bought my car at Brantford Hyundai and received great service the 3 times I needed work done. Decided to try the local shop in Burlington on the weekend to get a key and key fob programmed as I had lost mine. Called ahead on Wednesday to get the key cut and the fob ordered. Set up an appointment for Saturday at 8 AM. Should have taken no more than a half hour to finish the job. First problem was that they had forgotten to cut the key and had no one on site who could cut keys on Saturday. Charged me an hour to program the key fob when most places get it done in 15 minutes. Their solution to the uncut key was to send the shuttle driver to a local shop less than 5 minutes away to cut the key. As the shuttle driver also had to pick up and deliver customers she did not return for 90 minutes at which time she told us that the local shop was unable to cut the key. In the end they charged me over $300 to program the key fob. I did not receive a key and must now return to another shop to get the new key cut and programmed. The service rep was very pleasant and did all she could to help us get through this disaster but her support team was as unprofessional as I have seen. We left after 4-1/2 hours. Oh, and since I googled them to find their address I now have their annoying ads popping up whenever I use the internet on my phone. I certainly won't be returning to Burlington Hyundai. More

Did full service that cost $450 for warranty work, which seemed odd but did full service check over, so maybe. Extremely slow service for paying the bill and such and not overly friendly. Get the car and has odd knocking and pull to one side and they were pushing to have an alignment done, although I never noticed issues prior. So a couple weeks, noise is getting worse. Seems to switch from front right to left side, and suddenly brutal grinding. Take it to other dealer to find out the front wheel bolts were not torqued on, so had come loose. One tire held on by only one lug nut and other by only 3. I'll never touch the Burlington service shop again. Good news was the Kitchener Hyundai dealership was terrific. More

He suggested we check out other routans in the area to compare and even asked if we needed directions to get to the other dealerships. He also offered to lower the price if we decided the van was the one we wanted. Great rep!! More
