Hello Jackie99- Barrie Nissan is appreciative forums such as Dealer Rater allow a response to be issued, enabling our clients & readers an insight to both perspectives. You seem to level multiple allegations against Barrie Nissan, however the catalyst to each concern was the lack of good faith and transparency in your approach. On the eve of October 18, 2018 you entered into a legally binding contract with Barrie Nissan. The Dealership was to acquire and register a 2018 Nissan Rogue SV on your behalf. After an approval on your transaction was posted, this vehicle was ordered and accessories such as a winter tire package was assembled as per your sales agreement. At this time personnel from Sales and Financial Services attempted correspondence with you via text as well as e-mail to help coordinate logistics such as insurance & licensing for the new vehicle. Barrie Nissan was unaware during this time you elected to venture (in secrecy) to another retailer AFTER legally committing to a vehicle and signing a Purchase Agreement! You attempted to "better" your offer and proceed with a different transaction, despite initially committing to the vehicle Barrie Nissan had registered on your behalf. Contrary to popular opinion, there is no "cooling off clause" in Ontario and deposits (just like with many other industries) serve to hold both parties to the provisions outlined in a contract. Barrie Nissan was made aware that you had attempted to purchase "another" Nissan vehicle and again attempted to contact you in an effort to counsel/ assist you with these multiple transactions. Barrie Nissan has satisfied their obligations within your contract and will be retaining the deposit in question to mitigate costs incurred with ordering both vehicles and accessories. At no time was name-calling or threatening behavior necessary- this again underscores the lack of good faith and integrity towards a local business who contributes and improves the community in which it resides. Barrie Nissan is appreciative for the time taken by our reviewers to share their experience & reminds our clients to always drive with care!

I think you have me confused with someone else. I never said anything about deposits and threats etc. But I see you guys are scamming other people as well. So much for the community you supposedly help. Like I said, fast talking car sales dealers.
