George - thanks for your reply. I appreciate that you take this seriously and that you would like to explore this further with preserving the image and integrity of your dealership in mind. The review is a true account of our experience and not an exaggeration although it may be lacking some detail. I appreciate that it costs money to repair cars and that sometimes problems are complex and multiple issues can be failing on one 'system'. For that I do not have a complaint. Having said that, I certainly hope that the parts we have been told were faulty and to blame for the failure of this 'system' were in fact faulty... Ultimately, my complaint was with how the adviser has treated and responded to both of us in our 2 recent visits to Bannister Honda (as well as other visits previous). Obviously we are frustrated with the complex nature of the problem and high dealership costs and yes we have been given breaks on costs... but don't feel like we should be treated in a short snarky manner and hear profane utterances as the phone is hanging up that is directly related to the call one of us was just on. My wife called to discuss the cost of one of the portions of the required bill that is ahead of us that is 2.5 times more expensive than at a non dealership garage. I am all for loyalty to my product name and service both of my vehicles at their respective dealerships, but sometimes, the dealerships just simply charge too much for their parts/service with typically higher labour rates. That is your right as the dealership to do so. I think that it is great that your dealership service dep't is so busy that you can charge prices that are not competitive - but apparently maybe your service department is too busy to care and here it has come at the cost of a few negative experiences between your adviser with us. We have been servicing our Honda there since 2010. Apparently the adviser did call my wife at the end of the day when she obviously had no intentions to do so until she was spoken to and after your dealership received this review - but I thought that it was interesting that she chose to ask my wife if she submitted a review - This is the husband - I am submitting this based on 'our' experiences. I appreciate that you need to discuss this with your employee, however, I would appreciate it if this could be pointed to me rather than towards my wife - it was my decision to write this not hers. I am really not sure if there is anything that can be done. We just want to be treated fairly, politely, and respectfully and have our car serviced and repaired at a fair cost.

Hi Gearge I am very sorry I have not been available to contact you today as I have been very busy with work and unable to break away to call you. Unfortunately I am away over the weekend and returning on Wednesday - I can call you then (Wednesday) if that is okay and not too late. I appreciate that you would like to review this sooner than later. As for the repair - so far so good, we are taking it on a trip for the next 4 days so we will be able to confirm if we have finally fixed this. Thank you very kindly for the added discounting, that far exceeded my expectations for sure and you have been very generous and responsive. I do intend to edit my review to indicate that I had an issue with the service adviser and will enhance the star ratings to reflect what a great responsive appreciative manager you are. I remain open to discuss this further as well. I will be in contact with you as soon as I can get a moment to call you during business hours.
