Recovery from a bad experience Generally happy with the service here, however, recently I had a very poor experience with one of the service desk staff being very short with both my Generally happy with the service here, however, recently I had a very poor experience with one of the service desk staff being very short with both my wife and I, and just generally impolite. Labour cost is expensive and we have had our vehicle in twice recently (3 times total) for the same issue. Both my wife and I had been in contact with the service adviser about the appointment to get updates on the issues they were detecting and to discuss the repairs required. We received the estimate for the further repair required. I noted that parts and some services at Honda are quite a bit more expensive than say at a standard garage. We decided to call to book a follow up appointment (3rd time for this matter) and to discuss the cost of one of the services that was to be performed. This one job was 2.5 times more than at a standard garage. Unfortunately, the service adviser gave us the impression that she was too busy to talk about our concerns about the cost of the service - which I thought was poor and she advised us of such in a manner that was very, very impolite. We were eventually contacted to discuss this by the same adviser, however, not until after the dealership became aware that a negative review had been written about the experience. This was not the first time that we had experienced less than polite discussion with this service adviser. Phone etiquette and customer appreciation could definitely be improved. Oil changes and other regular service have been reasonable. After having lots of work done to our Honda in the last year they have been open to discussing/comparing/reviewing labour charges. Not today (nor our previous visit - both with this adviser). I have been usually satisfied with the quality of service but I don't appreciate not being respected and appreciated as a customer because someone is too busy to give you the time to discuss a job, or the cost. I am sorry but that is my expectation of someone in that role. George Evans became involved and has gone way out of his way to ensure that we are satisfied with our experiences with Bannister Honda. I feel that he went above and beyond my expectations. It is very fortunate for Bannister Honda as I had seriously considered if I would ever service my car with them again. George has won us back as we will continue to use Bannister Honda for service and repair of our Honda. I wish I could split the ratings on this but unfortunately it is an overall rating. George takes extreme pride in representing Bannister Honda. The rating below is the average of experiences between the 2 staff members favoring the good experience. It is hard to give an overall rating given that there was a very bad experience that was resolved favorably and in a way that we are happy with. My original review had 2 stars all around and I was ready to move on. We will continue to service our Honda with Bannister Honda and hope for many more friendly, and quality experiences in the future. More

As we come from out of town for our repairs we enjoy the fact that the shuttle service will pick us up and drop us off wherever we need to go. Tammy is always at the desk to greet us, she is prompt to call us when they have diagnosed the problem and we know exactly what to expect when we receive our final bill. More

Very Happy 😀 This was my first time buying a new car and I was a bit nervous at first. The team at Vernon Honda was super supportive and easy to work with! Tracy contacted me right away with all the information I was looking for. I live out of town and couldn't make it from work to the dealership before closing but Tracy was lovely and arranged for the whole dealership and team to stay open late to accommodate my busy work schedule! That was amazing and greatly appreciated :) Jason accompanied me for the test drive and informed me about everything I could ever possibly want to know about the car, but in a way that wasn't overwhelming while I was driving. Udai helped me out with financing and he was very informative and knowledgeable, and explained all my questions and concerns from warranty to payments and everything in between, and made sure I was comfortable with it all. Jason was very kind and helped my hook up my iPhone to my new cars Bluetooth and got me all set up with music for my drive home. Workers were friendly, gave a fair price for work done, phoned me when they were done, and gave a good report on what was done. New brake pads and shoes, oil change, passenger side airbag (free), and entitlement to a free car wash. I was very pleased with the service and also with the friendliness of front line workers. I would recommend this place to friends and family. More
