We arrived 3:30 on a Thursday with an extremely hot and noisy rear brake, with 100 km left on our trip home. They got us into the shop immediately, despite our not having an appointment and the fact that it was getting late in the day. Parts were ordered, and reordered when the supplier sent the wrong one the first time. But even so, the work was completed and we were safely on our way home in two hours. No need for a hotel stay or a rental car. Thank you both so much!! Brian and Diana More

Parts not available First off, I live an hour away with chronically ill members of the family. Being able to get away from home can be a hassle. So when I was contacted t First off, I live an hour away with chronically ill members of the family. Being able to get away from home can be a hassle. So when I was contacted to make anappointment to get a recall on my crv looked after I assumed it would be taken care of in one visit, but not so. After receiving a reminder of the appointment the previous day, which I made a point of asking if the part needed was there and if I would have my vehicle back the same day, and being assured that yes, it was, I arrived at the dealership and checked in. The service man at the desk took my keys and found my paperwork and told me a shuttle would be by to drop me off as I waited. All was well. While waiting for the shuttle however, I checked my cell messages (a different number than my appointment reminder) which I didn't receive until arriving into town as I don't have cell service at home. I listened to a message from Dan, the man I just spoke to at the service desk, telling me the part needed to fix the recall was not available anymore and I would have to change my appointment. Confused, I went back to Dan and asked him about the call. I was told, "oh no, we've run out of the part needed. We can't do it today." Obviously, I'm miffed about the whole situation. Why were there more appointments made than parts available? Why was I told they were there when I asked? What would have happened if I didn't check that message? Would I have been left by the shuttle waiting for a call that wouldn't come because there would have been no intention of servicing my vehicle that day? More

I had a next day appointment and when an emergency at work came up that changed my schedule, Daniel went above and beyond my expectations to accommodate the change and make sure I had my car back when I needed it. He said that the only indicator for low oil is the maintenance reminder-honestly maybe a service department is not the best fit for this fellow. Because there was grease on the battery post they refused to check my battery how hard is it to clean off grease with a rag if it had corrosion wouldn’t they have to do more to clean it? They even knew I had had trouble within the last week with the battery What happened to the knowledgeable women that used to work in the service department More
