Hyundai 2010 Veracruz We were looking for a 7 seat car and the decision was between the Veracruz and the Dodge Journey. We looked around on the internet and some of the que We were looking for a 7 seat car and the decision was between the Veracruz and the Dodge Journey. We looked around on the internet and some of the questions we sent out to other dealers were not answered quickly enough for our liking so we checked out Bank Street and took the car for a drive. We're happy we went with the Veracruz (aka Santa Fe XL). The Journey seems so much smaller next to the Veracruz and meets our needs well and we are happy. We found Ibrahim (our main contact) to be very pleasant to deal with, kind and helpful, even when we contacted him to assure ourselves of some extra questions. He was quick to respond, which was appreciated. Ernetso was very helpful in explaining the different options regarding assistance plans and financing options. He took us in before everything had been finalized which wasn't the normal procedure but it was helpful as we wanted to be in and out quickly. We heard him out and felt he had a nice manner about him. A secondary mention must go to Sam. As an experienced salesman, he gave us some extra helpful advice which made the experience nicer overall. We found all the staff that we had any interactions with to be nice to deal with. One thing we wished could have been given a bit more attention was the final clean up of the car. The interior windows and detailing had a smeary look due to the vinyl shine chemical applied. We would have appreciated a newer rag (and separate rags) being used. It seems that maybe that was missed. Otherwise, the car was given to us in the condition we expected and it was clean. The little extra detail mentioned would have resulted in a 5 star rating for us. We didn't notice on the car at the time of test drive and final mini-test that the car has a disagreeable slight pull-back on downshift at around 60-80 km per hour. Seems it's just something to get used to. Overall a very pleasant experience. Special thanks to Ibrahim! More
