On november 20th, 2018, I went in for a routine oil change and to get my winter tires install, ended up being charged ~ $1600 for a bunch of non essential services they claimed were safety related. To make matters worse, they returned the vehicle to me without tackling the 2 recall notices currently out on Hyundai Sonata vehicles - seat belt Recall 71CA10 (R0128) and air bag Recall 61C023. Update: Nov 22nd 2018 - I am now 100% convinced Manny in the service department lied to me. He claimed my steering made a noise whilst reparking it during drop it off on Tuesday November 20th and that it was a major safety issue. This accounted for $800 in the total $1600 paid. As of today, the steering is still making the same noise. This has definitely soiled my impression of Attrell Hyundai Dealership in Brampton and I won’t be surprised if such an approach to business/service leads to their downfall. Updated Nov 30: received another recall notice from Hyundai Auto Canada Corp ...this time again with the airbag... Recall 81C049 (R0144)...total of 3 thus far outstanding!! Again be careful! More

Worst parts and service team I bought new Elantra from this dealership and been doing service from here, reported 100s of issues during use related to viechle, they just ignore ev I bought new Elantra from this dealership and been doing service from here, reported 100s of issues during use related to viechle, they just ignore everytime or do temporary solutions ... iam changing bulbs every month it get fuse.. many times sensor issues they just sold me garbage product...they never take permanent solution during warranty anyways I ll never recommend Hyndai and specially this dealership for service atleast... Worst ever experience. Zero customer service and courtesy Called just now for a simple query for an oil change. The call was hung up twice after 6 minutes on hold each time. Attrell Hyundai Brampton: Bad, its amiracle we are alive Dear Manager Hyundai Sales and Service, I was at your dealership to get my tires swapped, I think on 27 April, had to wait for an hour and forty five Dear Manager Hyundai Sales and Service, I was at your dealership to get my tires swapped, I think on 27 April, had to wait for an hour and forty five minutes and yet the Santa Fe had not been assigned, when I ask the reception, they said would look into it and the Santa Fe was brought out in the next 15-20 mins. I was happy to finally get out. I did not drive much during the week, but this Sunday May 6, had to take the Highway and on my way back, had a nail in my front driver side tire, did not realize it but the car was making weird noises, got of the high way, called the roadside assistant, who would take an hour so call ed my friends who came over. When they started to unscrew the tires they were surprised to see that the screws were loose. we then checked the other tires the other tires and too had looses screws, in fact the passenger side front tire did not have the special screw (whatever it is called). The service department had forgotton to put it on and to tighten the screws on all the tires. It is a miracle that we did not have a fatal accident because God was watching over us. My question is that when you sell us a vehicle costing 40K plus, does it all end there? Is service and the lives of your customer not count. I think I should probably file for damages, God's grace that the five adults in that Santa Fe did not end up worse. I think some thing drastically needs to be changed so that the customers lives are not at risk after getting their services, maintenance etc., done at the Attrell Hyundai Brampton dealership service department. I hope this complaint will not be overlooked and neglected because I intend to write again if need be and make the change happen. More

Don't let the sales manager rush you into signing! ..I just want to share my experience with #AttrellHyundai. In 2014 I purchased a brand new vehicle. Got taken upstairs (literally) for the 'extra sell ..I just want to share my experience with #AttrellHyundai. In 2014 I purchased a brand new vehicle. Got taken upstairs (literally) for the 'extra sell' by Sandra Correia...went with the LIFETIME warranty on Upholstery and rust protection. set me back $999 + tax but since I had a small child and fabric seats, figured a LIFETIME warranty would be a good investment. Sandra Correia boasted about the warranty, and that because I purchased the 'Extra care coverage' I had even MORE protection!! For a LIFETIME !!!! On Feb 12, 2018, 3.5 years later, I brought the car in to make use of the warranty. The dealer cleaned the problem areas and then called me to ask for the 2016 inspection certificate...the what? Sandra Correia forgot to mention in her upsell that the vehicle needed to be inspected every 2 years for the warranty to be valid. This was news to me. I was told by the dealership that I signed agreeing to this...my first response was to tell him that I was never told of this inspection requirement and I was livid....I was told then that because they had already cleaned the seats that this would be a 'GOODWILL' gesture but now my LIFETIME WARRANTY WAS VOIDED. I went home to check the paperwork...where we signed it said in order for the warranty to be valid, the dealer had to submit the paperwork and fees within 30 days. Nothing else. On page 3 the fine print mentions the inspection. So - should I have read the agreement in full? Absolutely. But anyone who has purchased a vehicle at the dealership knows of their strongarm tactics, their fast talking and wheeling and dealing and the pressure they put on you on the spot to make a decision, and they don't give you time to read everything. Like I told them - I bought a car from you, you didn't have to teach me how to drive. But if I needed to actively do something to keep the warranty valid, you should have told me. I would have done it. I just lost over $1000...Am I wrong in thinking that Sandra Correia had a responsibility in letting me know that there were inspection requirements for the warranty to be valid? Is that too much to expect that in the extra 20 minutes they forcibly confine you in the small room upstairs that they take 20 SECONDS to tell you that you have to do something to keep your warranty in order?? She took time draw me a picture of why I should buy gap insurance! Why not instruct on how to keep the warranty valid since those details were on page 3, not where we signed?? I almost feel as though this is done on purpose - get the money but they will never have to provide the service - pure profit. I hope that this post will save even 1 person the same fate that has befallen me. I also hope that Attrell Hyundai will ensure their Sales Managers correct this with future sales pitches. I just want to make sure other people don't fall into the same TRAP More
