Also window randomly opens when vehicle is started. They said battery was changed. It apparently was a defective battery. All 3 sales reps/Manager Morgan, Drew, and Allan tried to resolve the problem. Till this day, 3 weeks since vehicle was returned. Still have not heard back from dealership. I am annoyed and frustrated. The customer service is extremely poor. I would notrecommend this dealer. More
Had an-eye-opening experience at Ancaster Toyota again: Today I went in the have them look at the powered lift-gate back-door of my RAV4 (bought at this dealership). I told them exactly what the problem is Today I went in the have them look at the powered lift-gate back-door of my RAV4 (bought at this dealership). I told them exactly what the problem is and asked them for a quote for the repair. The answer at the service desk was: You need to sign for a $140,00 diagnostic service-charge before we touch your car (means if i don't book the repair I have them to pay $140,--. Needless to say, that I did not do that (I bought 3 new cars and a good used one at this place). Second time I did not get help (first time I needed a battery on the spot (They wanted to give me an appointment in 1 week. Never again Ancaster Toyota!!! More
Garbage stealership - one of the rogue ones who tried marking up MSRP with a fraud “market adjustment” and when they got called out, instead began refusing to deliver pre-ordered vehicles unless you agre marking up MSRP with a fraud “market adjustment” and when they got called out, instead began refusing to deliver pre-ordered vehicles unless you agree to their grossly overpriced “upgrades” - things you’d get at other shops for less than half the price. Don’t like it? Oh well, they have another customer waiting behind you. Bait and switch players will never get my $, period. More

This was the most unpleasant and poor customer service that I ever experienced in the car business. Took my car for Warranty Enhancement Program to repair the door cable and ended with both sliding doors that I ever experienced in the car business. Took my car for Warranty Enhancement Program to repair the door cable and ended with both sliding doors now not working. When asked for the explanation regarding the cables issues the service clerk and the service manager become extremely hostile and rude. I would not recommend this service to anyone! More
I bought a Toyota Corolla from ancaster toyota in October 2015, I was recommended buying a $2000, 7 year FCPP extended warranty that would give me a $1700 rebate when the warranty period finished if I did no 2015, I was recommended buying a $2000, 7 year FCPP extended warranty that would give me a $1700 rebate when the warranty period finished if I did not use it. I checked the warranty document recently and found it had expired last October. That means the warranty period was 6 years and not 7 years. I clearly remember they told me this extended warranty was 7 years, so why was the extended period on the document just 6 years? The car came with a 5 year manufactures warranty, so why would I spend $2000 buying a 1 year extended warranty. Now, I won’t be able to get my rebate back because my warranty expired. Also, they did not tell me that I had to apply for this rebate within a certain period time, otherwise it would expire and I would get nothing when they recommended this extended warranty to me. I called Ancaster Toyota a few times asking why this extended warranty is 6 years and not 7 years, and could not get any help. The whole warranty thing is so disappointing, I hope Toyota sales points out this trap when they sell this FCPP extend warranty next time. More

I own a Rav4 which I bought at Ancaster Toyota. I brought it in for typical service ie. oil change, tire rotation etc. They told me I needed a new battery which would cost almost $200. The car was I brought it in for typical service ie. oil change, tire rotation etc. They told me I needed a new battery which would cost almost $200. The car was 3 years old. I told them there was nothing wrong with the battery as the vehicle was running just fine. That was 4 years ago and I'm still using that same battery. I was very upset at the service department there and will never buy another car from them or have any device done there. More
