From start to finish, my experience with Mike Fry and Airdrie Honda was second-to-none! My "new to me" car search began in the early summer. I booked an appointment at Airdrie Honda to test a used Honda CRV. Although I was not completely satisfied with the CRV that day, Mike did not "push" a sale. I think he knew that I had lots to think about and that my search was not over for my perfect car. At the end of October, I found my car during an online search. Having made a connection with Mike in the summer, I knew that he was the person I wanted to deal with. My "new" car is a Hyundai Santa Fe...not a Honda. That didn't matter to Mike. He knew all about my car and could answer all my questions knowledgeably and patiently. He truly cared about me as a person and not just another sale. From the very start Mike was an absolute DELIGHT to work with. He's not your typical salesman where one might feel the pressure to purchase a vehicle right away or that "you should add this and that to your with. It was our first time buying a Honda. The friendliness and knowledge of the staff was outstanding. Brandon was personable and friendly he did not pressure us what so ever but was able to inform us of all and knowledge of the staff was outstanding. When the time came to replace the winter functionality of our old 96 Jeep (very important because we live on an acreage on a hill NW of Calgary and we get a lot of snow) we went looking for a Toyota RAV4 bec our old 96 Jeep (very important because we live on an acreage on a hill NW of Calgary and we get a lot of snow) we went looking for a Toyota RAV4 because our son and DIL owned a RAV4. We also own a 2007 Civic that we bought new at Red Deer Honda. After Airdrie Honda opened for business I started to use their parts and service facility to support the Civic. From that experience I was impressed with the very different "can do and want to do" attitude by the staff in the service and parts dept at Airdrie Honda. So much so that when the time came to look for a "used" Toyota RAV4 I thought we must check out the used vehicles at Airdrie Honda. So we made our first trip to their "used vehicle" lot but did not see the vehicle we wanted at that time. About 3 weeks later we had an appointment to see a new RAV4 at the Toyota dealer in NW Calgary. On the way to the Toyota dealer we had a bit of time on our hands and once again we were smitten by the good vibes we had about Airdrie Honda. So, on this visit we met Brandon Heatherington. He had showed us a 2010 RAV4 that really impressed us. Upon leaving Brandon for our our Toyota appointment we told Brandon in all likelihood we would be back to talk a deal on his RAV4. Sure enough, we made our 3rd trip back and talked turkey with Brandon and came away with the 2010 RAV4 very happy with the experience. That was a month ago (and the weather is now -30C at night) and we are still smiling about the whole experience. More
