I've bought a dozen or so vehicles in my lifetime and not a single one of those buying experiences comes close to my last. While residing in Phoenix, Arizona I bought a 2014 Ram 3500, 4x4 from this dealership in Airdrie. Sean Miles engineered the whole transaction to a pain free closure. He located the exact truck I wanted right down to the colour at another dealership, secured my commitment to the purchase, the down payment and the trade in price of my Mazda- weeks BEFORE i had even left Arizona. The truck was kept on the lot for 6 to 7 weeks before I could pick it up and when I picked it up it was ready to go. Less than 5 minutes with the finance manager which has always been my most painful experience when buying new (in the past) followed by a thorough and detailed explanation and overview of everything I needed to know to run the truck. The electronics, it's numerous options, it's warranty, etc. Sean was friendly, trustworthy, prompt in reply and most professional every step of the way. To be sure, from here on in I will be expecting the same level from any other dealership and since most have miserably failed, I am left with no choice but to continue to buy from this team in Alberta for the rest of my life. Started to check all the dealerships each couple of days for new stock to arrive. Took a couple of test drives one at Okotoks and the other at Varsity. Remembered that Airdrie had a dealership went on line and seen they had a Black Cherokee in stock and went up to see it. Got to the dealership looked around the lot and seen a few Cherokees but not the black limited. Went in side the dealership and to ask about the vehicle, no pressure,sales person asked if I needed help and I told him I was looking for a new Cherokee Limited and that I had seen they had one in stock. He explained that it was a special order for a customer and was already sold. He invited me into his office and asked If I was interested in ordering one myself . He said let's build one and see what we come up with, he showed me the print out which had two prices on it one was MSRP and the other was DSRP. He explained that my price would be the DSRP plus $500.00 as well there was no fees. I thanked him for his time and told him I would be in touch. Went back to Varsity Chrysler and asked the salesman for his best price he could give me on a vehicle with the options I had chose. He said that I might get $500.00 off the MSRP as these types of vehicles are in demand. Went back up to Airdrie Chrysler the next week and made the deal. The price I paid was $2000.00 less than Varsity. Ordered the Cherokee on Jan 26/14 and just about every week I would receive an email showing me the status of my special order from the salesperson. Picked up my new Cherokee on April 29th. Vehicle was clean and ready to go, salesman went through all aspects of the vehicle as well showed me around the dealership. Got a customer card for 10% off all parts and vehicle had a full tank of gas. Have bought a lot of new vehicles over the years and I have to say this has been the best experience and best service I have received. Had a follow up phone call from my salesperson to see how everything was. More
