Jeep Renegade I was very pleased with the salesman who took the time to explain the safety and features of the vehicle to my daughter. Jeep is a well known name an I was very pleased with the salesman who took the time to explain the safety and features of the vehicle to my daughter. Jeep is a well known name and we had previously owned a Liberty. I needed a vehicle that my daughter would feel comfortable driving. It also had to be something that I would feel good about her driving on the road. Another factor for Jeep is the climate and driving conditions in Alberta. Although I have known Chris Roy for years he was very upfront about everything and did not treat me like a "female looking for a car, what can I sell her that she won't understand and will have to keep coming back?" I had that happen to me in another province I know enough to look out for someone playing games. He knew the car was for my daughter and was aware of my concerns. Unfortunately I was less than happy with the Finance department. On Wednesday October 15th I met with Chris Tonkin and filled in paperwork, he was to check on the financing for part of the vehicle and the next day he let me know that everything was good to go and to expect an email with further information so I could proceed with insurance. Friday, having received no email I contacted the dealership and ended up speaking to Clark Hamilton who said that the computer program was changed the night before so the email didn't reach me. I am a customer spending $35,000 and I have to chase the information I needed. Then the VIN number kept getting rejected by my insurance company so Clark said that it was the fault of my insurance company and they did not have the proper update on their computers. At that point I decided not to have any of the vehicle financed. I sent an email to him that I faxed the paper I finally received to the insurance company so that the issue with the VIN number could be resolved. Clark sent me an email on Saturday saying he received the insurance papers and had adjusted the paperwork for full payment with no financing. It was arranged that I would pick the vehicle up Tuesday afternoon since I was busy working the Federal Election on Monday. Then Monday morning I receive a call from Josee McMillan saying she needed my insurance info so that everything would be ready for Tuesday. I informed her that Clark had received the insurance paper and he sent me a message Saturday to that effect. It was most disappointing to deal with three different people who obviously do not communicate and that was the only factor that had me change from partial financing to a full payout. More
