Horrendous customer service !! I was completely appalled today by the customer service I received at Airdrie Dodge. I had made an appointment to have my truck looked at for a front I was completely appalled today by the customer service I received at Airdrie Dodge. I had made an appointment to have my truck looked at for a front end shudder that was inconsistent and I was hoping for some reassurance or answers. When this gentleman called me to tell me the diagnosis given by the technician he was rude, blunt and clearly did not care about my questions or concerns. I had simply asked some questions to make sure their findings where for sure as for I was hard pressed to believe that was all it could be due to the consistency that would be required for it to have been. If that truly was all it was then fine, I just wanted to be sure seeing as I had been told by a fellow dodge technician that he had seen this before on a Ram and it was an issue with the transmission. The gentleman on the phone got snippy about my questions, had no answers for me at all and then proceeded to ask why I bothered to bring my vehicle to them at all if I knew a technician at another dealership. Well I'm sorry I live in Airdrie and didn't feel like going out of my way to go to a dealership in the heart of downtown Calgary. He told me that they couldn't help me, and I was welcome to go get a second opinion anywhere else. I was taken back to be honest as for I truly didn't think asking some questions to make sure that when I get my truck back I wouldn't have anything to worry about. Apparently he found it rude of me to have asked him things and expected him to do his JOB and at least get me some answers or reassure me. Upon going in later that afternoon to pick up my vehicle he was again rude, blunt, took my money for the oil change and walked away from me without some much as a word or hint of politeness. Granted at this point I was already upset myself. When I got into my truck and was on my way home I then noticed that they had forgotten to even reset the oil change gauge in the truck so I had to go back and ask for them to do this which was just the icing on the cake. Honest mistake I'm sure though it was just a little extra frustration I didn't want. I will be hard pressed to return to Airdrie Dodge for anything if I can help it from here on out. I would rather drive anywhere because at this point inconvenience is worth being treated with respect and decency. More

Hidden Suprises I had an okay experience at the dealership. Steve spent a lot of time with me checking out various options before my final decision was made. However, I had an okay experience at the dealership. Steve spent a lot of time with me checking out various options before my final decision was made. However, as a woman, I have always been a bit leary with car salesmen and mechanics because you don't know if they are being straight with you. My biggest issue was when it came to the extended warranty...and how it affected the final price. He didn't write the costs down on the work sheet and gave me the impression that he had included it in the final price of the Jeep. I only realized how much more it added to the final price and my biweekly payments when I sat down with Chris and was presented with the final work sheet showing the additional costs. Instead of a deal at around $35,000 (my budget) I was looking at well over $41,000 plus interest! I am very happy with the vehicle but not so happy with the way the deal was presented. More
