Horrible experience. - Rust box
Horrible experience. Spent just over $30,000 on a mediocre vehicle with hidden issues. Suspension squeaks, failed oil pan gasket (leaked oil on my parking spot), strange click sounds in the front end, squealing serpentine belt and now rust spots are developing in 2 separate areas (both of which were chips concealed with more paint). This dealership is an absolute nightmare. I experienced the most stressful 5 months of my life trying to have them take care of issues while under their 90 day warranty. The manager, Chris, actively avoided me or would invalidate my concerns, making me feel I was being unreasonable when anyone would feel the same. They truly don’t care about customer satisfaction, it’s about making the sale and then you are left on your own. There were also discrepancies in the sales price I negotiated vs. the number financed on my loan papers. They certainly do not live up to their claims of “120 point inspections” etc. etc. I also presume they acquire a good amount of their inventory from eastern Canada (“the rust belt”). Disappointing doesn’t begin to describe my experience. I’m still extremely angry and annoyed about it 7 months later. I am now having to deal with having the rust spots repaired [out of my own pocket] so my “new” vehicle isn’t a total rust bucket in another 3 months. Absolutely shameful. They also ignored my negative review on their website rather than acknowledge my experience and how they failed me as a customer. Bottom line: Do not purchase from Hyundai North (or FFUN group). Crooked robbers!
