Had a routine service on my 2022 Hyundai yesterday. Service was prompt, efficient and I was informed of items that needed attention. Thanks Gordon E. Service was prompt, efficient and I was informed of items that needed attention. Thanks Gordon E. More
After a week's holiday with family in the Niagara region, and a visit to the University of Guelph for a campus tour for my teenager, I realized my brakes weren't working properly. I didn't feel safe travelli and a visit to the University of Guelph for a campus tour for my teenager, I realized my brakes weren't working properly. I didn't feel safe travelling back home to Kingston, so I phoned the Guelph Hyundai Dealership and they managed to squeeze me in for an emergency replacement of my brake line. All the parts were in stock, and they managed to finish up just before 5 PM, meaning I didn't have to book a motel to stay overnight! Excellent service and I'm so grateful!! Made it home to Kingston safely after a very long day! Thank you Guelph Hyundai, Mike Lear, the service manager and the guys who worked on the vehicle. More

A used 2013 Elantra listed for $ 9,500. 00 jumped in pride to $15,000.00 when safe-tied with no hint major repair work was needed to make it road worthy. The vehicle was not worth the higher 00 jumped in pride to $15,000.00 when safe-tied with no hint major repair work was needed to make it road worthy. The vehicle was not worth the higher number and I feel we were misled by the whole process. Hyundai put a vehicle on their lot at a price that was competitive but did not share that there would be significant dollars to make it road worthy. I do not accept that they placed a car on their lot with not idea as to where or range a safety check would lead. The car that was driven to the load was a Genesis 2013 which was determined to have engine failure. It turns out the 2 liter turbo engine has a very large history of engine failure. The dealer made no offer to share the engine repair cost even though there was a significant body of evidence showing the engine to be faulty. More

Playing scams and misguiding customers to sell pre-owned cars for way more price than market value. If one does not want to go forward with the purchase and asks for a deposit refund then they start threate cars for way more price than market value. If one does not want to go forward with the purchase and asks for a deposit refund then they start threatening the customer. Sales manager Peter is so manipulative at the beginning and once they get the deposit he will start threatening to forcibly buy the vehicle even if you do not want to buy it because of certain reasons. The dealership itself is excellent to deal with and I would give them a 5 star rating. The only down fall was a cocky, pushy arrogant person by the name of Peter Morlock. I am not sure how this individua would give them a 5 star rating. The only down fall was a cocky, pushy arrogant person by the name of Peter Morlock. I am not sure how this individual became a sales Manager but he was terrible. Because we wanted some time to discuss and think about making the purchase, he told us that we didn’t come to purchase a vehicle and he was wasting his time on us. We didn’t drive 1.5 hours to waste anyones time and went with the intention on making a purchase. We were so turned off by this person and the salesman we were trying to deal with could tell. Get rid of Peter Morlock he is bringing your dealership down More
I'm pretty upset at Guelph Hyundai right now. I had an appointment today at 12:00 PM to swap my Winter tires for the Summer ones and get my regular oil and filter change. I received a call last I had an appointment today at 12:00 PM to swap my Winter tires for the Summer ones and get my regular oil and filter change. I received a call last night to remind me of the appointment. I was there shortly before 12:00 PM, and, to my surprise, my tires were still in storage. I wasted part of my day on this. I was told that the online system is the culprit. Well, I would agree that the online system stinks, is not user friendly, and is obviously unreliable. So why have such a system if one cannot rely on it? I had to rebook my appointment for another time. There was no offer of a discount for the error caused by Hyundai (probably the Head Office) for my next visit. The incompetence must stop here. Redo your online appointment system and make it user friendly and NOT complicated. I'm very disappointed at Hyundai right now. Are clients not important anymore? Service is already very expensive. I expect a lot better from Hyundai. Will I want to purchase my next electric vehicle from there? Only if they get their act together. More
