Took my 2019 Cruze with 49,000 miles in for service because the traction stabilizer light came on and it started cutting out. Took it to a local service garage first that told me this should still be c because the traction stabilizer light came on and it started cutting out. Took it to a local service garage first that told me this should still be covered under the emissions warranty which is 8 years 80,000 miles. I did so and after putting it on a diagnostic machine they called me and said it was a PCV valve. I went online and researched the cost and on the PCV valve I found the cheapest was $75. and the most expensive was $219. They charged me $940.00 along with supposedly numerous other issues and to fix it it would cost $2700.00. Dummy me said fix it because I needed it back. After they supposedly said they fixed, 62 days later the same light came on and it started doing the same thing. Took it back and after putting it back on the diagnostic machine, don't you know they said they checked everything they did came back as good. In the same breath they said it was something different and that it would cost $650.00. Told them do not touch it, I am coming to get it. To compound matters, my daughter has a 2019 chevy equinox with less than 70,000 miles and don't you know that the transmission went and that would be $7,000.00 to $8,000.00 to replace. Of course that was not under warranty as well .I am getting it fixed on Tuesday by the service center I took it to originally. On Wednesday that piece of crap car will be up for sale and I will NEVER get another Chevy again as well as my daughter. Corporate America at its best again. More

I was ready to trade my 2016 Colorado and 2019 Miata on a 2023 Frontier. The online estimated trade in on the Colorado was between $15k and $16k on the COX CHEVY WEBSITE. . The Miata’s was between $21k and $ 2023 Frontier. The online estimated trade in on the Colorado was between $15k and $16k on the COX CHEVY WEBSITE. . The Miata’s was between $21k and $24k. The Colorado has body damage. I was upfront with the salesman and sent photos ahead of time, I’ve received estimates between $6 and $7k to repair the body damage, Trent convinced me to drive an hour to the dealership with both vehicles that they were ready to make a deal. I was astonished when they tried to steal my truck for a mere $3000. It only has 25k miles, The powetrain is worth more than $3k. Not only that, they offered the lowest amount of the range on the Mazda of $21k. I see what they were doing. I owe $24k on the Miata. They made it so I had zero net proceeds to put down and was financing 100% of the new truck with 2 trade ins. Total bait and switch and unscrupulous, **Update**: Carmax gave me $7500 for the 2016 Colorado Cox tried to steal for $3000 plus $24,000 for my Miata. In the meantime Erin from Cox Mazda was soliciting my business. I told her about my experience at Cox Chevy and she was flippant and rude. Don’t waste your time with Cox Chevy/ Mazda. Go straight to Carmax where I’ve always gotten an honest deal. More

What a joke. 2 different people helping me with 2 different prices for the same car went in 3 times looking to see the car but was never to be seen. I think they list cars they don’t have. Poor workmanship and no attention to detail Let me start with I have over 40 years experience as a mechanic. I took my 2019 Silverado in for it’s second service, had to rent one of their vehicle Let me start with I have over 40 years experience as a mechanic. I took my 2019 Silverado in for it’s second service, had to rent one of their vehicles as it was going to be a long wait. Several hours later my truck was done. There was a piece of foam sticking out from the windshield which I has asked the service writer to have addresses and it was ignored and still hanging out on the dash. I tucked this piece down between the windshield and dash myself assuming that is where it went. 3 days later while driving in town traffic, my low tire pressure warning system began showing my left front tire was low, I did not feel any pull in the steering so believed I had time to find a service stating to check the air, minutes later I heard the tire begin to roar and knew it was flat, I immediately pulled over onto the shoulder of the road and discovered my left REAR was flat and now ruined, the service tech never reset my pressure sensor locations when the tires were rotated. I will accept blame for not pulling over the instant the warning system showed a low tire but had the sensors read properly I would not have believed it was the front tire. I contacted the Cox Chevrolet parts and service department on Friday morning and requested to bring the truck in to replace the tire. The parts man stated it looked like the tire appeared to be discontinued. A NEW TRUCK SOLD WITH DISCONTINUED TIRES!!! I was informed they would try to get a tire that day or maybe Saturday but most likely Monday. I called each day to check and as of Monday evening still no tire. I had to leave for south Florida where I work on Monday evening so I contacted a Jimmys tire in Clewiston on MONDAY EVENING AND HE HAD A NEW ONE TUESDAY MORNING! Why is it a small tire shop in nowhere backwater Clewiston, Florida can get a tire in one night that Cox Chevrolet can’t get over 4 days? Now I have my tire replaced but the pressure sensor system is still not reading the proper tire. To say I am disappointed in Cox Chevrolet parts and service is a huge understatement. Looks like I will be performing my own service from now on as Cox Chevrolet Service has shown too much incompetence in their workmanship? The sales people I dealt with were wonderful, stay away from their service! More
