This is a complicated review related to a complicated issue caused by the Weston Nissan during the sale and delivery of the vehicle. My sales person was Tony Cordero. I processed my alarming concern with issue caused by the Weston Nissan during the sale and delivery of the vehicle. My sales person was Tony Cordero. I processed my alarming concern with both Tony and Eddy Barros the service director. Plain and simple the dealership failed to complete the the PDI process before I accepted the delivery of the car into my possession. I took it to my Nissan home dealership in Sarasota to find this out the hard way when the car started malfunctioning on my trip from Ft. Lauderdale to Sarasota immediately after purchase. It started out with simply the USB 2 port not working and I thought I was doing something wrong with plugging it into my phone…but no it was much worse and clearly NOT my fault. Day 2 of owning the car the TPMS sensors were constantly going off despite perfect tire pressure in the cars tires. The diagnostic report from my home dealership stated that Weston Nissan did not completely push in the PDI fuse tray causing both under electrical current and over electrical current to the entire cars electrical system. Had Weston Nissan completed the PDI process with any degree of competence this would have been a non issue and completely avoided. I think anyone reading this review would want to know more than just the problems encountered by the customer, but more importantly how Westin Nissan chose to deal with this act of gross negligence on their part. Outcome is as follows: Weston Nissan claimed complete deniability and said to me verbatim “if there was anything wrong with the car it would have started having problems immediately.” This they are correct on and so the problems did start immediately with the USB 2 port not working. My opinion of this dealership is that they are reckless, they lack consistency of competence, and have no accountability whatsoever. I only choose Weston Nissan based on 1 condition and that is they had a new 2023 Nissan Z and i purchased it. This review was written by someone who has a doctorate level education and purchased the car with cash who chooses to preserve their anonymity. Lastly, I also wish to give credit and praise to my home dealership of Gettel Nissan in Sarasota for phenomenal service and extremely competent diagnostics that yielded complete resolution of the problem that Weston Nissan caused. More
