Made to feel like family, highly recommended! My overall experience was excellent at Midlands Honda, off Killen Rd! I was made to feel like I was a family member by the personal interest my sales My overall experience was excellent at Midlands Honda, off Killen Rd! I was made to feel like I was a family member by the personal interest my sales representative showed me in reference to what type a vehicle I was interested in. Mr. Jerry Ardis took his time in explaining the process I would go through in purchasing my very first vehicle on my own. And I'm happy to say that the process of the paperwork went very smoothly and I was able to leave the dealership as a VERY HAPPY and NEW OWNER of my 2017 HYUNDIA ELANTRA.😁 Midlands Honda and Jerry Ardis, you all are the BEST! And I thank you all for helping me in purchasing and receiving my very new BLESSING🙌🚘! More

Good Dealership, just avoid dealing with Steve Goldstein Used Car Sales Manager, Steve Goldstein, initially started off as friendly, introducing himself and giving information on his background while the sal Used Car Sales Manager, Steve Goldstein, initially started off as friendly, introducing himself and giving information on his background while the sales associate was locating keys for our test drive. Then, when it came time to buy the car, Steve Goldstein's behavior completely changed when we voiced a small concern, escalating quickly to a rude, condescending way of speaking to us. We considered leaving at that point, because, when such a small concern dramatically changes someone's personality, it really makes you question how business is done. What if it had been a larger matter? Would our concerns be addressed appropriately? It really shows someone's true colors when they are faced with any kind of concerning matter that deviates from the norm. His sarcasm and condescension has really taken away from the whole car-buying experience. It is interesting how this small negative portion of the experience has overshadowed the positive aspects. I would recommend the dealership, but advise others not to deal with this particular sales manager. The sales associate was very friendly and helpful, so it's a shame that the sales manager actually diminished our feelings about the experience - especially over something so trivial. More

When I arrived I was greeted by a very personable salesman, who I eventually bought the car from. Marcus was very upfront and honest and I enjoyed my shopping experience. He guided me through the paperwork process and all- in- all, it was a great experience. It was then to the finance director who began his high pressure extended warranty pitch. After assuring him that I didn't need an extra warranty, he reduced the price of it and told me that if I purchased it and changed my mind even the next day it could be cancelled immediately. I tried to cancel it the next day but one would return my calls,I only got voice mails. Emailed him and no response.. Days later in a voicemail I was assured that the warranty had been cancelled. Now I am receiving monthly bills to repay the loan with the warranty still attached and interest accruing daily. I called the finance dept for 3 days and no response, only voicemails. Now they say it will take weeks to cancel. The salesman was great, finance dept not so!!! More

I have been going to the dealership since March trying to resolve this matter. The staff has been apologetic about the incident that has happened to us with Steven Goldstein. I’d to thank in advance Chris Brown, Chris Alston, and Claudette Green for trying to assist me in this matter and other staff members who were very helpful, and kind. We leased a Honda Civic from Yonkers, New York in 2015. During the life of the lease I moved to Columbia, South Carolina and took the car with me. Around a couple of months before the lease was about to expire my mother and I went to the Honda dealership closest to my residence, Midland Honda, where we met Mr. Goldstein. I went over the miles on the car so our intention from the beginning was to purchase the car instead of leasing a new one. We explained the situation to Mr. Goldstein over and over, and he insisted that the best option was to lease a new car and any payment left over and the mile overage in the old car would be taken care of by them. We asked Mr. Goldstein many times to give us the cost for the 2015 Honda Civic, he refused and kept saying a new lease car is our best option. He stated the last payment in the old car is covered. Ultimately closing out the old lease not owing anything. Mr. Goldstein said, “He only needed $300.00 for the new lease and that’s it”. He stated to us that we had nothing to worry about. As a result we thought we closed for the old lease and started the new lease (2017 Honda Civic EX). I will like to point out that my mother and I combined have been a customer for Honda Financial Services for more than 20 years. We have been leasing Honda cars for a long time. We are responsible individuals, who will not get into a deal if we are not be able to pay for it. My mom's credit score was over 800 points until Honda Financial Services reported that she owes over $3,000.00 for the 2015 Honda Civic for going over the miles plus two monthly payments left. My mother is currently in her fourth consecutive lease with Honda, and I’m in my third consecutive lease and we have never paid anything after getting into a new lease. Our dealership in New York made sure that we did not get a bill after returning a vehicle, so we believed Mr. Goldstein was doing the same for us. He repeatedly told us that we had nothing to worry about. Big mistake believing his words. We were recently contacted by Honda Financial Services stating we owe over $3000 on the old lease (2015 Honda Civic). If we would have known that we owed mileage on the car we would have kept it as originally planned, this is exactly what we wanted to avoid in the first place. Hence the reason we explained to Mr. Goldstein we wanted to keep the car and asked for the cost. Again, he reassured us we didn't owe anything for overage in miles and refused to give us the cost of the car. He insisted a new lease was a better option. We have been constant communication with Honda Financial Services for months now, explaining the situation. We gave them Mr. Goldstein’s name and contact information many times, and Honda Financial Services told us they have contacted Mr. Goldstein many times, but he has not returned their calls. Mr. Goldstein told me in my recent visit with my mom over the phone “this is the first time I heard about it”. At first he didn't remember me, my mother or our interaction with him. Once I explained the entire conversation all of the sudden he started to vaguely remember us. He refused to take any accountability for his actions and pretended he wanted to help us resolve this matter. Another issue that arouse recently regarding my old lease is that we were supposed to meet Ms. Claudette Green, Senior Sales Consultant in the Leasing Department at Midlands Honda to close out the old lease before entering a new lease. Not only was my old lease not properly closed out, we never met Ms. Green and never signed the proper documents to close the lease. Mr. Goldstein never informed us we had to meet with Ms. Green and follow proper procedure in closing the old lease. If we would have met Ms. Green, we would have known about the fees and I am sure we would have kept the old car. Honda Financial Services called Ms. Green several times regarding our old lease, but because we never met with Ms. Green, she didn't have proper paperwork for our old car, as a result Ms. Green was not able to provide them any information about our old lease let alone help us with this issue. I waited over a month for new plates and registration. The entire experience was unnecessary, extremely lengthy and disorganized. Please note my husband recorded the conversation regarding our transaction January 13, 2018. We have proof that our complaint is legit. The old car was returned January 2018, since Midlands Honda didn't purchase the vehicle or wanted to keep it. Honda picked up the vehicle sometime in March. So, ultimately there were additional mileage added to our bill that I did not use. The purpose of this letter is to make the dealership aware of our terrible experience and to help other potential customers avoid this situation from happening to them. We were at the dealership for over 5 hours. I don't understand why the proper process was not followed. The only purpose of Mr. Goldstein from the beginning was to raise his sales at our expenses. He mislead us and lied leaving us with a $3,077.66 bill for us to pay to Honda Financial Services. More

Chris Graham has been very helpful, before buying the car and after that. Mr. Goldstein did not play any games negotiating the price of the car and even throw in some extra parts. Chris Brown work with me in the finance of the car and also with other products. I added the extended warranty and gap insurance for my vehicle, and that wasn't expensive at all. In all a very satisfying experience, definitely happy to have bought my new car at Midlands Honda. More
