This was by far the best experience I have ever had at a car dealership purchasing a new car. The place was beautiful, the staff friendly, the costumer service impeccable. But the person who impressed both me and my husband the most was our dealer, Robert Williams. He was absolutely fantastic and made us both feel completely at ease right away. He was able to pick up on what our car needs were and helped us get exactly what we wanted in a car. He was extremely thorough and answered every question we could throw at him (and boy did we had a lot of questions!) Not only did he do all that, but he actually made the entire experience fun, which is a rarity when visiting a dealership, I know after much experience of searching for the perfect car (which I finally found). I was also very impressed with the business manager and also the assistant manager who helped us get to the price we were looking for. They were both helpful, knowledgable and professional. I have purchased many cars thru Herb Chambers Lexus and would never feel the reason to go to any other dealership. I have recommended this dealership to family and friends. I was also very please with Robert. I had had my children in with me and one of them is a 15 year old boy who had many questions. Robert was terrific with him. We will be back to buy a used car for him next year when he is ready to drive. We are also very pleased with the price that we paid and our payments are where they need to be. After the introductory greeting Robert invited us to his desk and started learning from us about the details of the car that we are looking for. Robert then came up with a list of Lexus that matched our description and then we tested drive the car. Robert went through the details and carefully explain to us the features of the car. However, we had a 2000 Honda Civic that was giving us various amount of problems that was costing us more money then needed. Plus on top of that we needed a bigger car because we recently just added a new member to our family, and with now five kids we all could not fit. It was getting out of control that we had to come to a conclusion fast to trade it in for a 2007/2008 Lexus GX470. My budget was $33,000 nothing higher. I also wanted the car to come with navigation and T.V. Surprisingly everything worked out just like we planned. We could not have done it without Robert Williams. He sat down with us and asked us what type of car were looking for, our price range, the year, etc. He also listens to what we had to say and how to make us feel happy of what we were buying. Robert would never or have ever tried to rob us in any kind of way. Mr. Williams is always honest and made me and my daughter feel welcome and always happy and laughing. From then on he told us the cars they had with the listing we wanted and BINGO Robert found the right car just for us. A 2007 GX470 with good milage, navigation, T.V., and the price was $34,000. When we traded in the Honda the price went to our original price which worked out perfectly. He hooked us up with a lot of deals and he treated us very well. He also took time to show us how to do this and do that with our new car because we had no clue on what to do. My daughter and I surly appreciate all that he has done for us because now we love our new ride. The GX470 is amazing and the kids love it to especially since there is a T.V. We are happy with everything we did and Robert Williams sure did do a good job with everything such as selling us this beautiful car that the family now love so much. After researching all the 2010 Crossover SUVs, it appeared that the Lexus RX350 was the vehicle that would probably most closely meet my requirements, and replace my Buick Rendezvous. I wanted an AWD SUV with leather seats in which I did not hear the road, feel the road and which had an excellent safety and reliability rating. Since there are no Lexus dealerships on Cape Cod, I chose the closest one for a test drive - never having owned anything exceopt Buicks and Cadillacs. It was my intention to purchase a pre-owned RX350, but it became immediately obvious that the seat depth was not satisfactory in the earlier models. Robert Williams suggested that I try a 2010 RX350. He was most helpful in adjusting the seating to my satisfaction. Additionally the staff went out of their way to meet my financial requirements. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. The pickup of the vehicle was exceptional - Robert thoroughly explained all the many automatic festures and options. I have never had a dealership pay such extraordinary attention to pleasing their customer, usually it is quite the contrary. It was a pleasure to do business at the Herb Chambers dealership More
