Ralph went to ECSU in 1980. He loved the area so much, he bought land and built a log home for his wife, Carol, and daughter Angelika. Ralph has been at Gates since 1998! As far as cars go, Ralph's father tells him that he wouldn’t stop talking about them at 3yrs old, and nothing has changed since! He bought his first car at 13 years old; a 1965 Corvair convertible, and sold his first car at age 14. Ralph has personally owned over 100 vehicles! He lives, eats, and breathes the automobile. Ralph has been working here at Gates since February of 1998. He looks forward to selling you your next vehicle; "Here at Gates, we have the right vehicle at the right price!"

Great time buying my truck! Sales consultant Ralph Clement met me in the car lot. He introduced himself and quickly became my new best friend! I found him to be knowledgeable a Sales consultant Ralph Clement met me in the car lot. He introduced himself and quickly became my new best friend! I found him to be knowledgeable and informative without being pushy. He went out of his way to be helpful and when at the last minute, I decided I wanted a bed liner, he made it happen "quickly" and even delivered my new truck to my house.. I have bought a lot of cars in my 70 plus years, but never as smoothly as this time with Ralph Clement. Then came the dreaded paperwork and financing. Ralph introduced me to Chris Messier who couldn't have been more helpful and even got me a better rate than I had from my credit union! Will I buy from Gates (Ralph + Chris) again? You betcha! More
