February 8 First and hopefully last visit. Engine light came on with vehicle still under warranty I was immediately told there would be a $169 diagnostic charge if repair was not covered by wa Engine light came on with vehicle still under warranty I was immediately told there would be a $169 diagnostic charge if repair was not covered by warranty. Needed a new thermostat which was covered by warranty ( no diagnostic charge ). The part had to be ordered would be in on 2/10 I left the car. Advisor called on 2/10 wrong part sent. Advised me I needed 2 new tires told him to install. 2/11 advisor called to say cannot get tires. Part not there yet for thermostat will be ready on Monday 2/14. Texted advisor on 2/14 to say I would be in around 3 for pickup. He texted back ok will be ready. One hour later advisor texted no part will not be ready. 2/17 picked up car drove 10 miles and car would not allow me to go over 15 mph. Front rubber shield not been reattached properly after dealer oil change. Called dealership and was advised they don’t have anyone to come get the vehicle or look at it. Called tow company and had the car brought back to dealership. Finally got car back 2/19. Ten days, four trips to dealership and no tires (Costco got the tires from the manufacturer distribution center overnight). I love my G90 but I will never buy another Genesis until there are stand alone dealerships. Service appointments take at least a month to get no matter what the issue. The dealers servicing my Lincoln Navigator and Lexus LS are far superior. More
