Kalvin Carr kindly greeted me in the lot, and after many test drives, research, and about a week of me looking at other locations to compare vehicles, I came back to purchase my new(used) Honda Fit from him. I can not recommend Toyota Used of Marin, or Kalvin Carr, more highly. There is no pressure to buy and you can feel the care in the entire establishment. Kalvin was super helpful, truly above and beyond courtesy, honesty, and knowledge of the cars and the all the nuance of the purchase processes. Some treated me like a second-class citizen the moment I casually asked for a test drive and expressed being in the exploratory research phase. Not Kalvin. He was very engaging and informative while also applying zero sales pressure. Actually made it an enjoyable process. Less then 24 hours later I bought the car we test drove the day before. Highly recommend Kalvin. Visiting all those dealerships in one day really put into perspective how Toyota Marin's customer service is the exception, not the rule. More

Staff was very friendly, did not pressure me on anything just provided options and worked with me to get a payment I was happy with. Kalvin greeted me at the door and got me started and got me in touch with Martin who I had emailed regarding the truck. Martin showed me the truck and test drove with me and was very friendly, answered all my questions, and never tried to upsell me to a new car or anything more expensive. When it came to financing the APR was quite a bit higher than the online estimator but I suppose the staff has no real control over the lenders. They were however happy to provide multiple financing options and contact more than one lender to get me the fiancing length I wanted to get my payments closer to what I wanted. When I was happy with the arrangement I was handed off to cathie who was also extremely pleasant to talk with and very thorough in explaining my warranty and maintenance plan. She also threw in some bonuses as a thank you for being an LEO. Overall I came out with a slightly higher payment than I was expecting but the experience was painless, informative and i feel confident that I will be taken care of in my future interactions with them. I walked away very happy with my purchase! More

What easily could have been a complicated and stressful process was quick and painless, thanks to Kalvin Carr, the salesperson who helped me. Kalvin was knowledgeable and patient, kept me updated, and was easy to get in touch with when needed. Huy Pham (sales manager) and Cathie Badger (finance manager) also assisted at various points during this process. What a great dealership and a great team!
