Worst experience ever. The car smelled of strong chemicals which was intended to mask the odor of 7 years of smoke. When I asked the salesman about the smell, he started to try and tell me it wasn't chemicals which was intended to mask the odor of 7 years of smoke. When I asked the salesman about the smell, he started to try and tell me it wasn't cigs and was only the chemical used to clean. It was so bad that by the end of the test drive I had a migrane. He gave me a lackluster offer to try and clean it, but really by then I was just done. Lession 1: probably not a good idea to argue with a customer, lesson 2: cigarette smoke is literally impossible to mask. Lesson 3: this sales guy is in the wrong profession. More

JC Lam, our salesperson, was great. He explained everything we needed to know and was energetic and helpful in all ways. His good humor, friendly demeanor and clear expertise made our purchase experience very pleasant. Karen Voss, the business manager, was also extremely helpful and efficient, making the final process speedy and complete. We appreciated her sense of service and sense of humor. One problem: In the other survey, I described how, about 22 hours after I purchased the car, the "Check TPMS System" screen flashed up. You might read that account. Ultimately, within a few hours, the service department reset it. But I wonder how that could happen in a brand new car. More

JC was really helpful, I took quite a while to browse through a bunch of cars to see which one I liked/wanted. He wasn't annoyed about it and didn't rush me at all. Great car buying experience! I called in first with some financing questions and got my answers right away. I then made an appointment for later that day to come in a do a test drive. We weren't ready to buy at that time but would soon be enticed by some super incentives from Honda Motor Co. I blanketed the whole Portland Honda Dealership market with emails explaining that I was in the search for an Odyssey...Internet Rep Adam Brown was one of the first to respond promptly and with direct answers to my questions. His knowledge of the product, services and promotions was greatly appreciated! However, your dealership didn't have quite the vehicle I was prepared to purchase. Because Christian had made such a positive first impression before, I decided to come by and see what your dealership could offer. Needless to say, both Christian and JC Lam made a compelling offer for me to upgrade my choice of trim on the Odyssey. JC also provided a very pleasant post-delivery experience. Thanks Guys! I'll see you in the future! By the way, I live less than 2 miles from another Honda Dealership that didn't win my business and will not be providing me my vehicle service. More

I am very happy to say that I just bought my 2nd car from Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Honda and this experience was even greater than my 1st!! My Sales Consultant JC Lam was perfect! He was extremely patient with me and all of my questions, gave me as much time as I needed, was very knowledgeable...and never gave me a bit of pressure. It was a great buying experience from beginning to end. I was able to get the best deal (worked with several dealers without them even knowing to verify their offer was fair) and found that the deal they gave me was the very lowest of all dealers from the very beginning. No hassling at all. Everyone at the Dealership was all smiles, very happy and friendly and I never felt pressure or judged in any way. This is coming from a very picky person. I DEFINITELY recommend Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Honda and especially my sales rep, JC. Go to Bob & ask for JC Lam!! :) More

Bought 2010 Honda Fit from JC, friendly service. Love the car. Changed mind about one of the items orig purchased. Almost 2 years later (due to my own delay) Christian and Juan (especially Christian) res car. Changed mind about one of the items orig purchased. Almost 2 years later (due to my own delay) Christian and Juan (especially Christian) resolved the matter, to my surprise as it was essentially my mistake. I have always gone to Beaverton Honda, but they have made me a lifetime customer both for new cars and for service. I will also recommend them to anyone who is looking for car service or purchase. Customer service experience could not have been better. More
