Excellent Overall Experience I test drove quite a few cars before deciding on a Honda Civic EX—T sedan 6 speed manual transmission. The problem I experienced was that very few dealerships had these models with manual transmissions and I could not find one in the area where I live (RI). I test drove the model at another MA dealer but they only had one and I was not thrilled with the color. However, they offered me a great purchase price for the car. I decided to wait and continue searching. I went online, expanded my search radius and I was amazed that Silko had 3 available in different colors. I immediately called Silko and spoke with Brooke from the internet team. I inquired if the cars were still available and asked if they would match the price I was offered from the other dealer. She called me back within 5 minutes and informed me that they would match the price and explained everything the price included. I set up an appointment to come in the next day and received a confirmation email for the appointment. The next day I went in for my appointment and met with Emilio who immediately obtained the car so I could test drive it. I was thrilled to see only 4 miles on the odometer and went for a test drive. After the test drive, Emilio asked if I wanted to see the cars in the other two colors and we walked in the back lot to take a look. I decided to stay with the color I test drove and informed Emilio I was ready to purchase it. He obtained the initial paperwork and confirmed the purchase price I had received from Brooke the day before. Emilio did not try to up sell me at any point in time! I then met with Stacey from the Finance area and we went through all of the financing paperwork. Again, he informed me of my options but never pressured me to purchase any additional items. Once the finance paperwork was complete, I was informed that I would receive a call from Emilio with a date/time to pick up the car. Emilio called me the next day and scheduled a time for the following day since he was going to RI to register my car. I went in to pick up my car and Emilio immediately took me to my new car and went through every detail of the features, from setting up my phone connectivity to opening the gas cover. He made sure I fully understood how everything worked. I thanked him for all of his time and patience and then drove away in my new car... This was an excellent and efficient experience and I just want to thank the Silko team for amazing customer service! More

Internet shoppers beware- bait and switch at silko Silko did not honor their pre-negotiated internet car prices. My sister and I each wanted to buy a crv. We had emailed Darnell back and forth and agre Silko did not honor their pre-negotiated internet car prices. My sister and I each wanted to buy a crv. We had emailed Darnell back and forth and agreed on a price for both cars. We went in on Sunday and spent 3hours there, test driving the cars we wanted to buy. When it was time to write up the papers the business manager, Chris came to me with a different price than what we had already agreed upon. I showed the business manager the email chain of the car negotiation. He would not honor it. I am so embarrassed that I wasted my sister's time. I convinced her to come with me here instead of a dealership closer to home because I thought it would be a smoother car buying process. I would never recommend anyone to go here. Chris and Matt- you were very rude to us for no reason. You made us feel like we were liars. Even after we said we did not want the new price, we just wanted to leave asap, you continued to talk down to us. RESPONSE TO SILKO'S RESPONSE: I received multiple email after that close of business day stating "As we are nearing the end of our month we are way behind our monthly quota. So what this means is we need to take every deal possible!! Please let us know if there is anything we can do to earn your business. This weekend we will be considering all reasonable offers!!" This is word for word from the emails I received. This is obviously not true because they backed out of the deal we originally agreed on when we went there that weekend. My offer was clearly reasonable because honda of boston accepted the original deal AND their document fee is $100 less, $298 vs Silko's $399. I actually saved $100 by not buying from Silko. Do not let her response fool you. Do not get tricked by silko. Silko also took my registration and did not put it back in my car. I had to go to the dmv to get another copy. More
