I grew up in Cary, Illinois and my father was superintendent of line maintenance for Northwest Airlines at O'Hare. He made certain that all three of his children had at least basic automotive skills and didn't hesitate to supervise us with doing our own oil changes and helping him with other vehicle repairs. After moving to the Madison area, I started my career as a motorcycle parts consultant, moving on to an automotive warranty claims administrator, dispatcher, service writer and eventually service manager. I enjoy working with the technicians, service writers, and other staff in a team environment. Our self proclaimed motto is to treat every customer as if it were family coming through the door and give them the fairest price and trusted service that we all should expect.

Tried to do a good thing and keep my business local. ......Big mistake!!! Picked up my Telluride on Friday and now it's going into Kia to get fixed. I slid into a snowbank and had some minor bo ......Big mistake!!! Picked up my Telluride on Friday and now it's going into Kia to get fixed. I slid into a snowbank and had some minor body and Tire damage. Also, a horrible vibration at higher speeds. Went to pick up my vehicle and to my surprise it was not repaired fully. I was about ready to sign my paperwork and pay my Deductible and asked the body shop staff if I should drive my ride before signing my paperwork to make sure that the vibration was gone. They guy looked at me and said, "Oh, the vibration is not gone" He said, "I took two service Techs out with me and we are not sure where that vibration is coming from". "We think it might be the Drive Trans." What a shock!!! I asked, "So, why didn't you keep going and fix the issue" He said, "You are going to have to talk to your insurance." I called my insurance guy and he was shocked that there wasn't anything done or no Referral to take else where for further repairs. I'm 100% sure that the people in the Body Shop wasn't even going to mention the vibration not being addressed. My insurance guy suggested that I Call the Service Manager and see if I could get my Telluride back into the Service department to do diagnostics on the vibration. I called and explained the situation to Her and she said, "Can you hold on 1 second." I was assuming she was going to talk to the Body Shop to gather information. Nope, She just transferred the call to the Body Shop!!!! Absolutely unacceptable response for a Manager!!! I now have an appointment with Kia to get my vehicle repaired. Here is the worst part about this whole situation. After my Telluride is repaired, we are going to purchase a brand-new Silverado because we bought a small camper and it's a little too much for the Telluride. Looks like we will be taking our business out to Runde or another Chevy Dealership. What a missed opportunity!!!!! More

I didn’t get the name of the woman that brought out my used filters to show me what condition they were in and to see if I was interested in replacing filter in addition to the rebate. Service work has timely and professional. Employees are pleasant, have a cheerful greeting, get you in when scheduled time comes about. Symdon has a nice waiting area with refreshments and TV so the time goes by quickly when I have service work done. Recently I had need of body repair and Jordan, Jeff and the crew in the body shop performed a miracle with my van. The loaner car was a plus. More
