Wouldn't Even Look At It Had car problems two times going to Charlotte Airport which is 2 l/2 hrs each way for me. Husband was taken to hospital in Texas and had to rush home. Had to leave car in long term parking but arrange with dealership to look at the car if a friend brought it to them. Had all relevant information. After promising me they would they refused - costing her four hours of travel. Now I have no way to get my car. More

The best experience at a dealership ever Nothing but perfection. Also worked with sales man Scott Redfeildt and he is the absolute best to work with. He listened and delivered exactly what I wanted and he was wonderful to work with. We made the deal super late. And they stayed with us 2 hours after closing. They explained all the extras... Here is the key though. They didn't try to sale me! They were straight up honest. I love them and love my new car! You will too! DO NOT GO TO MAZADA OF SOUTH CHARLOTTE THEY SUCK. More

Wife and I visited this dealership not really knowing what we wanted, including even anything within the brand. We narrowed down our options pretty quickly to either a CrossTek or an Outback. We really were horrible with deciding what we wanted. We placed a verbal order for an Outback, got the price consessions we were looking for. The day we went to pick it up we decided on our way to the dealership that we wanted to take another look at the Crosstek. When we we say the lease costs for the Crosstek (higher than the outback) we were flamoxed and decided to do nothing (more time to think). After leaving the dealership we received a call from Chris who sweetened the deal on the Outback even more. We uturned, went back to the dealer, and closed the deal. If anything, we (the customer) were an undecided, flip-flopping pain in the neck. The whole time Chris was very matter of fact. Not once did he show any signs of anxiety. Not the case for us... Along the lines of price, we did our research on kbb.com and pretty much knew what the going market/street price was for the car we configured. When we presented the price we were willing to pay there were no issues. Prior to the price "presentation" there was a little bit of the old school "let me check with my manager to see what we can do on the price". That ended quickly once I presented my offer (instead of the other way around). Overall, they went through enough of the details/features of the care to get me going. Chris followed up a week later to see how things were going... which was nice. I did take the opportunity to ask him a question about the rear seat belt... it just saved my from looking it up in the owners manual. The "finance experience" was very low pressure... they pretty much knew we were the kind of customer that didn't go for the extended warranty pitch, so they didn't make it. I was surprised and even asked what happened to it! Overall, once we made up our mind what WE wanted, the purchase experience was uneventful, no-pressure and low stress. It was not the typical dreaded car purchase experience. More

I was greeted by Mike who listened to what I was interested in. I did test drives on the Outback and Crosstrek. I appreciated the lack of pressure to make a decision then and there. Little did I know that 3 hours later I would be driving home in my new Outback. More

I was searching for a 2013 5-door WRX in Charlotte. I called several dealerships and many said that this car would have to be ordered through a dealership and would take up to 10 weeks to deliver. I call called several dealerships and many said that this car would have to be ordered through a dealership and would take up to 10 weeks to deliver. I called Subaru South with a competing offer (which was below the local average from online research) and asked if they could match the price. Chris Stone was willing to match the price and also said they could get me a car within 3 days! I was straight forward with what I was looking for and they were able to get the car that I wanted. Chris did everything he could and filled my requests in a very timely fashion, with also giving me straight forward answers to questions. During my search for a new car, I feared walking into dealerships, having to go through the haggling process and having dealers call me for days afterwards. Not at Subaru South. He was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable with the dealership. I have been very happy with my experience with Subaru South, including price and customer service. I am looking forward to telling others that I bought a car from Subaru South and want to send any potential car buyers to this dealership. More
