2017 Subaru I was online looking for a specific color Subaru Outback. Was contacted by Stephanie and she sent me information on the car they had. We went to loo I was online looking for a specific color Subaru Outback. Was contacted by Stephanie and she sent me information on the car they had. We went to look at the car this past Saturday. Was greeted by Chris Johnson. Both he and Stephanie were very helpful. We did buy the car we went to look at. There was no pressure. Chris went over all the info on the car. Very pleased with both of them. Rick Summerfield did our paperwork and was also very nice to work with. More

Low-pressure high service This is a low-pressure dealership. Chris Johnson was wonderful. He was patient when I decided to buy and yet didn't go through with it and then came This is a low-pressure dealership. Chris Johnson was wonderful. He was patient when I decided to buy and yet didn't go through with it and then came back to him about half a year later. He worked hard to make the deal happen, including making sure the trade-in was valued fairly and that I got all questions answered and patiently going over every detail of the car and options. Very happy with our new Subaru, and happy with the deal. Thanks, Chris! The finance department was also low-pressure and easy to work with. More

Don't ever preorder or purchase a car to be built! Ordered an STI from them, put a down payment on the vehicle and was abused for almost 8 months, I continued to call and they couldn't tell me where my Ordered an STI from them, put a down payment on the vehicle and was abused for almost 8 months, I continued to call and they couldn't tell me where my car was or what was going on. After my 8 month aggravation period I decided to cancel my preorder and it was a horrid trip to get my down payment back, I had to threaten a lawsuit for them to give me my money back. This is a small and shady dealer that I will NOT be returning to. More

Cunning and Manipulating Negative reviews are never pleasant to write but I feel compelled to share my experience and the complete lack of concern for customer service that we Negative reviews are never pleasant to write but I feel compelled to share my experience and the complete lack of concern for customer service that we received. From the moment we first walked into this dealership, feedback and communication from our salesperson, Chris J., was scarce, but this place is around the corner from our house and we were promised a great price while he searched for the right new Outback. After 3 weeks, Chris J. told us he found the right car and he would have it shipped from Chicago. We settled on a price and provided the requested $1000 deposit, the car was to arrive 7 to 10 days later. We received a call 5 days after and Chris J. said that our car was sold by mistake. He mentioned another similarly equipped Outback is in Texas but we would have to pay an additional $900 for it, I respectfully declined and told him I would come in person to discuss. Curious, I called the Chicago dealership and found that exact car, still available for purchase. Unfortunately, this is a very far drive and would be difficult with my schedule. We went to the dealership to speak with Chris, but he was not available. Obviously upset, another salesman, Chris S., insisted he would “get to the bottom of this and make things right”. After several minutes at his desk, he told us that he can order the properly equipped Outback but now it would cost us an extra $1100 for the same vehicle and told us he would not be able to honor the agreed upon price. I can understand a salesman making a mistake, but I believe there is more going on. It appears a great deal is promised with a dangling carrot. Once you have your heart set and the excitement grows, they use a very perverse tactic to scam more money. The lies, deceit and manipulation are very unprofessional. I couldn’t believe the disrespect and audacious attitude. We demanded our deposit and received it, but when we were walking out, three salesman were looking at us and not one of them had the decency to walk over and offer any explanation or apology, in fact, not once at any point have we received an apology. Shame on you Lou Fusz Subaru, this was the worst experience I ever had… FYI: We purchased a car from Dean Team Subaru, their price was much better then the faux price promised at Lou Fusz and the respect and courtesy was exactly what you expect when purchasing a new car. More

Great assistenace from the salesman Overall it was a great experience. The sales person I dealt with (Chris Johnson) was the most helpful and professional sales person I have ever worked Overall it was a great experience. The sales person I dealt with (Chris Johnson) was the most helpful and professional sales person I have ever worked with in all the years of purchasing care (going all the way back to my first purchase in 1973). The person I worked with (sorry I can't recall his name) on the financing piece was also helpful and patient. The only person i was a bit disappointed in was the person (that I never met) who tried to dicker with me on the trade-in price. I knew what the car was worth having checked 5 different sites who help establish estimates on trade in cars, then set an average on those figures. I said that is what I was expecting on my trade in and he/she started trying to fudge things. I was getting VERY close to just getting up and walking out but Chris went back and talked to him/her again and came back with the price I wanted. His efforts saved the deal from falling through. More

I went in to Lou Fusz Subaru looking to check out the Impreza. Unfortunately if didn't have large enough cargo area for my needs. I saw the Outback and the decent gas mileage it got and became very interested it it even though it was really out of the price range I wanted to spend. After much patience from Chris Johnson and my indecisiveness of what options I wanted, we finally got what I needed and am thrilled with my purchase. Chris was easy to talk to and very informative of every aspect of the vehicles. I would definitely recommend anyone to check out Lou Fusz and ask for Chris. More
