A Den of Thieves and a Brood of Vipers I wish I had read the FB reviews BEFORE I walked into this den of thieves and began to purchase a car with this brood of vipers. I am leaving this one in hopes of read the FB reviews BEFORE I walked into this den of thieves and began to purchase a car with this brood of vipers. I am leaving this one in hopes of saving someone else from getting bitten. The concept of full transparency was not present during the sales process. My affable yet lethal salesperson, Arin Robeson kept the conversation going while moving me along the process. They proceeded to use the old pickpocket trick - create a distraction to the right while your pocket is being robbed on the left. After the sale, I tried to call my salesperson, Arin, to discuss my concerns. Upon research, the “seamless”/ “easy” options she advised as viable solutions do not pan out as “easy” or “seamless” as described during our transaction. To this day, we somehow are still “unable” to connect and talk about my concerns. When I went to pick up my plates, I had the chance to see the head pit viper, the New Car Sales Director, Paul Hewitt. I voiced my concerns, and he made promises that were never honored. My calls seem to always end up in voicemail. My affable saleswoman was mysteriously away from her desk during my 60+ minute visit. Arin Robeson, with her affable demeanor, is strategically placed at the first desk of the dealership. However, make no mistake, she is a willing participant in the hunt and kill. This experience confirms there is NO honor among thieves. I don’t know if such sneaky business practices are standard at all Big Star’s dealerships. However, at this dealership, it seems down to a science. Even though I do love my Hyundai, Big Star’s terrible new car sales experience has significantly dulled the excitement of the new car. I wish I had purchased at Sterling-McCall Hyundai, Weisner Hyundai, or Humble Hyundai. I hope this message encourages you to safeguard your new car experience and visit a dealership not operated under the Big Star name. More

Good experience, but way too much waiting between actions. Total purchase time line was over 3 hours. Vehicle was. In excellent shape, but Nav system was not completely activated. Arin and Nick were great from the moment we met until the plates were placed on the vehicle and I drove away. It was very the most disappointing experience one could have on a car purchase. I was promised to have the first monthly payment reimbursed which I have already paid 4 and keep hearing from Sales person have on a car purchase. I was promised to have the first monthly payment reimbursed which I have already paid 4 and keep hearing from Sales person Aren Roberson and Customer Service Manager DeeDee that they are still pending general manager to sign the check. Such excuse would make sense on the first few weeks but after 3 months I can’t think they are nothing but a scam dealership where they promise anything on the sales process and will care less after you have the finance paperwork signed. I recently purchased a car from Big Star Hyundai, and my overall experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. While the salesperson was pleasant, the false advertising of the vehicle price resulted in overall experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. While the salesperson was pleasant, the false advertising of the vehicle price resulted in unexpected fees totaling over $10,000, conveniently undisclosed during the purchase process. Moreover, the financial advisor's insistence on not allowing me to use my credit union, coupled with threats of further price increases, left me feeling manipulated and pressured into accepting unfavorable terms. Immediately after driving off the lot, the car exhibited severe shaking issues on the freeway. Despite returning to the dealership, the initial diagnosis of "off-road tires" turned out to be a farce. It was later discovered that the car had a serious problem known as death wobbling, a safety concern that the dealership was ill-equipped to address since they specialized in Hyundai vehicles. To add insult to injury, promises of reimbursement for repairs were shattered when the dealership refused to cover the entire bill from the Jeep service center, leaving me with unexpected out-of-pocket expenses. The lack of accountability and unfulfilled commitments have left me deeply dissatisfied with my purchase and overall experience at Big Star Hyundai. I strongly caution others to thoroughly scrutinize every aspect of their dealings with this dealership, as my experience raises serious questions about their transparency, integrity, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
