I just purchased my 2013 Ford Escape used with hardly any kms on it, and brought it to my nearest Ford dealership, thinking... who knows a Ford better than Ford right? ( I couldnt have been anymore wrong) I was Under the impression that these people actually knew what they were doing? What a fool I was ! So I was convinced to get the Multi-point inspection ... blah blah blah... picked up the car and though wow ! I got a gem ! nothings wrong with it! However ! I brought the car in and told them that there was a particular smell of burning oïl/coolant and pushed them to verify it. Upon picking up the vehicle I was told there was nothing wrong, I pushed the dealership to verify because the odor was overwhelming and was seeping into my ventilation system (it truly was unbearable), but they insisted that there was nothing and that I was to ''trust'' their diagnosis. I requested that they put on the paper that there was a strong odor and after verifying that there was nothing and they did exactly that. Lucky for me, I drove my car to the states about 2 days later, the smell being almost over powering, the vehicle OVER HEATED ! I couldnt believe it ! I ran to the closest garage which actually happened to be a Ford dealership (crazy enough) and within 5 minutes of looking Under the Hood and just with the smell the mechanic at Ford in Plattsburgh looks at me and says ... Your water pump is finished... and has been for some time ! he went and wrote me a report stating that the vehicle's waterpump was not functioning and he put coolant temporarly for me to get home without issue (which worked out well).
I returned to the dealership and spoke to the manager who said he stands behind the work done at his dealership, I expressed my discontent and told him that this was a serious matter and that I was stuck and that I relied on his dealership and paid for a service that I had not received. He was adamant .. first thing to come out of his mouth was WE WILL NOT BE REFUNDING YOU... like are you serious ??? even the représentatives at Ford Canada are in disbelief with these clowns ! SO he then offers me a '' FREE '' inspection after I already paid the first one that they botched.
They found 3 problems ! NOT 1, NOT 2, BUT 3 ! ! ! !

Yeah they fixed it but at what cost? for me to be stuck? to have to go through all this headache? no thank you, Avoid this dealership at all costs, theyre not out for your best interest theyre out for theyre own. Take my word for it or you just might be the next one writing a review like this one

Have never had such an experience even in a small shop let alone in a place like 440 service place!!!!! Totally pissing off attitude my advice: never buy an advance insurance for your service!!!!!!
My car is there first the guy would not take it confirming all was perfect when finally he did if is 2nd day and no call no news whatsoever!!!!!!

thanks to Sébastien Pilon for a great service. We arrived late in the evening and we closed the deal. Both Sébastien and the commercial director stayed lated because the deals would not have been the same the next day (we got bigger rebates). Great service, over and above one can normally expect!

Purchased a vehicle just three months ago and had to replace the clutch at my cost which was completely gone before I bought it. Also had to change all four shocks and control arms and links. Air bag light keeps coming on. Warranty did not cover anything. Spent over $1500 so far and still have to fix airbag sensor for$185. Called dealer many times, no feedback.

I ask for paint for my Fusion. I forgot it and called 3 months after. The man said they never received. Recalled 2 days after to cancel. The new man said they received and will check inventory to confirm and call me back. Never recalled... 3rd call i cancelled the order. 1 month later, I called to take appointment for service. I was put on hold for near 10 long minutes. After the service guy took 5 additional minutes to finally say that his computer was not working properly. He took my phone to call me back. Never call me until now.... I changed Ford dealer.

still in discussion with them over as they report my air conditioning needs to be replaced had them do the work after 5 days i went back paid my 800 dollars and left with the same problem now they telling me its not the same problem and they only fixed one part some other part needs fixing. and still had to pay again to have them check again not taking this lying down they will have to fix it on there cost or this is going to be war.

Sellers tried to sell us a car with a bunch of lies. Their were supposed to fix a few things on the body, but it took 3 times to get a fair job. We battled just to get our phone calls returned from the seller and even from the directors. They promised so much and we got nothing! They were selling a car with full garanties but when it was time to sign... it was just another lie! If you go there, you will loose, time, money and a lot of energy! NEVER EVER GO TO THIS DEALER!
PARTS EMPLOYEES ARE UNBALANCED MENTALLY... i MEAN CRAZY!!! - CARGUY
I ORDERED 2 PARTS FRO MY TRANSMISSION. I FOUND OUT THAT I DID NOT NEED THE OTHER PART... APPROX. $15.00.
WHEN MY WIFE WENT TO PICK UP 1 OF 2 PARTS, IT WAS TOO LATE TO CANCEL THE OTHER, THE PARTS GUY WENT BALLISTIC ON HER AND GOT VERY AGGRESSIVE BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T TAKE THE SECOND PIECE!!!
HE WAS TRYING TO FORCE HER TO PAY IT ANYWAY ETC....
I CALLED TO COMPLAIN TO THE PARTS MANAGER AND TOLD HIM, THE NEXT TIME THIS HAPPENS I WILL CALL THE POLICE!!!
