I would like to share my experience with Laird Wheaton GM service in Nanaimo. I brought in my 2024 3LT Corvette Stingray last April 2025 for my first free oil change for purchasing the car from their dealership.
The service staff were friendly and cheerful, however, while driving away, I noticed a big grease print on driver side A pillar which is light grey suede. I turned back, the service guy was apologetic for this and cleaned it without leaving any discolouration, so I’m thinking this was a one-off.
But to my amazement it happened again! I took in my car for the last free oil change yesterday, and before I left the dealership I inspected the car after they changed the oil and washed it.
Walking around there was a big grease blob on the rear bumper. I had service advisor inspect the bumper and asked her how would grease get on the bumper ? Especially after being washed (so they never actually washed the car but just sprayed water on it). Upon further inspection I found grease both on the driver side rocker panel and door panel. My question to the service advisor was, “How does this happen every time my car has been there for service that I get grease on the interior?”
Worst dealership for customer service! The funny thing is while I was waiting for shuttle I was enquiring about the new 2026 Z06 trade in for my car but I don’t think this is the dealership that will get my business again. They have not met my expectations for honest, well delivered service.
