Service department is horrible, avoid at all costs.
When I told them I was having starter issues, which I wanted them to look into and fix, and also wanted the battery swapped with one I had picked up from a different dealership, and an oil change. They upsold on a 40 point inspection, diff and transfer case oil change. Then proceeded to do the aforementioned, but not diagnose or repair the starter, which was the main reason it was in. They also charged me 1200$ to do this service.
When I went to pick up my truck, I tried to start it in the parking lot, and it wouldn't start. I went back in to speak to the service manager, whom was rude and dismissive every time I spoke with him, both before and after service. He then went and got a mechanic and told me that the starter was not included in the 40 point inspection, and that they hadn't noticed anything wrong with it, then told me that I just had to smack it with a hammer any time I wanted to start the truck; Which, still has 60k km of warranty on it.
The sales department attempted to make right the horrid actions of the service department, but was unable due to a lack of staff in the parts department and a shortage of available mechanics. The general manager offered no acceptable recourse or alternative actions to solve the situation, other than returning the following week to allow the service department to make repairs, which I am unable to accommodate.
Absolutely unacceptable customer service, will not be returning to this dealer ever.
