Absolutely disgusting and unethical behaviour and treatment by the Sales Manager. After 13 days my “new” vehicle had multiple issues that the Sales Manager implied was the “standard” performance and treatment by the Sales Manager. After 13 days my “new” vehicle had multiple issues that the Sales Manager implied was the “standard” performance and that my request to exchange the vehicle was because I wanted a “new” colour. His condescending tone and rude remarks was extremely unprofessional, he stated that his decision was final and there was no one higher than him than God. Importable! Dishonest. Condescending. Once you sign, they really don’t give a xxxx. Suggest another dealership. More
I have never experienced worse customer service. I requested a winter wheel package in September, and had to follow-up 5 times and threaten to go elsewhere before it was installed 2 1/2 months late I requested a winter wheel package in September, and had to follow-up 5 times and threaten to go elsewhere before it was installed 2 1/2 months later. The service manager did not properly invoice the fleet company at the time and the vehicle has since been sold to me and they are demanding I pay when they made the error, they are now holding my summer wheels hostage in an attempt to retrieve the used winter wheel package to make up for their error. More

I had a wonderful experience at Oakville Volvo today. I live in Toronto but bought my vehicles in Hamilton. I found the dealers in Toronto to be dishonest and uncaring. Not in Hamilton or Oakville. I called to see about scheduling an appointment for a less than frigid air conditioning system and was told to come in the next day. Was helped by both Bob and Andrew from the service department. Polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Left within an hour with the system checked and recalibrated. Was well worth the drive and plan to go there for any further service needs. By he way, the owner John Martin, is very hands on and certainly knows how to pick his staff! Kate the receptionist is a doll. If you have any issues please bring them to Mr. Martin’s attention. I thought he was very patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. When i picked it up, he went over all the controls and helped me set up the Volvo app. The only thing I would suggest, is that the service manager should be introduced to the buyer at the time of delivery. The service records (if available), maintenance requirements, and any other tips should be gone over at that time. I think this would help develop a positive relationship between the buyer and the service department. Dave More
