Worst buying experience of my life. I have purchased Range Rovers, Chevy Tahoes, many pick up trucks, Honda sports car and vintage trucks and never have I seen a dealership in such chao I have purchased Range Rovers, Chevy Tahoes, many pick up trucks, Honda sports car and vintage trucks and never have I seen a dealership in such chaos. The sales people are rude to each other and the management are worse. Your time is of no consequence to them - you can just wait. When I tried to communicate my dissatisfaction to senior management at the dealership they said they would get back to me - never heard from them. They had no idea how to properly handle my trade and wouldn't provide me the car I wanted because a senior management's wife wanted to drive it more a few months. Won't buy from them again and may not even keep the Subaru. That is how disappointed I am with Subaru of Maple. Buy your car somewhere else, you'll thank me. More

The first time I took my car for a general service, they called me to say there were many problems with the car and like a dumb 'female' person I said OK to the repairs. A year later, I had a battery problem, took it to them (due to convenience), but only allowed them to work on that issue. They confirmed I needed a new battery. My battery was under warranty for replacement through Subaru in the US, where I originally purchased the vehicle. This dealer refused to honor the warranty. I took it to Willowdale Subaru and they were wonderful. They confirmed with Subaru that the warranty was honored in Canada, and replaced the battery for no charge. Never use Subaru of Maple for service!! More

Title: Disappointing Service Experience at Subaru of Maple I recently had my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek serviced at Subaru of Maple, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The service was handled by Moazzam Hussein, and while I appreciate his efforts, I can't help but feel disappointed by the overall experience. To begin with, the initial quote provided for the service was significantly higher than what I had expected based on my previous experiences with other Subaru dealerships in the GTA, and much higher than Barrie Subaru. The original quote of $1400 + HST was already over $300 more expensive for the same service than the competition, which raised concerns from the start. After some negotiation, I managed to bring down the price by 10%, but the troubles didn't end there. During the service, Moazzam advised me of several additional repairs that were supposedly needed for my vehicle. These included a tire patch for $65, a wheel alignment for $130, a battery replacement for $210, and machining to remove rust from my brake rotors for $210. While I agreed to the tire patch, wheel alignment, and battery replacement, I felt hesitant about the brake rotor machining. Upon conducting further research, I learned that brake rotor rust rarely necessitates machining, as it usually wears off naturally with regular driving and braking. Given that I use my car as a daily driver and had no issues at all, it seemed unlikely that the rust had accumulated to such an extent that machining was required. My concerns were compounded when Moazzam seemed to pressure me into getting the brake rotors machined, instead of proceeding with the battery replacement I had initially considered. This pressure tactic was unsettling, and I ultimately decided not to proceed with the machining after all. To my surprise, when I called to cancel the machining, I was informed that the process had already begun. When I requested photos of the remaining rotors to assess the need for machining, Moazzam was unable to provide them, raising serious doubts about the necessity of the service. The entire experience left me feeling as though I had been scammed and pressured into agreeing to a service my vehicle did not require. To make matters worse, after the service, I was contacted by Evan from Subaru of Maple, who urged me to give them a perfect score on the upcoming CSI survey from Subaru Canada. I explained my disappointing experience to Evan and expressed my inability to provide a perfect score due to the issues I encountered. Evan's offer to replace my battery during the next service without the cost of labor seemed like an empty gesture, as labor would have been included in the initial service anyway. It's worth noting that despite Evan's promise, I never received the email he mentioned, which only added to the sense of dissatisfaction. In conclusion, my experience at Subaru of Maple fell far short of my expectations. The pressure to undergo unnecessary services, the lack of transparency in providing evidence for suggested repairs, and the subsequent attempt to secure a perfect score on the survey have left me questioning the integrity of the dealership. I hope that my feedback serves as an opportunity for improvement, both in terms of service quality and customer communication, moving forward. More

So you buy a new car with headlights that were not right, a factory defect and its ok live with it. So disappointed you spend almost $50 000 and they are too cheap to fix the issue. All the people who looked at it including the sales manager agree with us but the person in some office not seeing it says it is fine. If that was not enough today we went to a store and got back in and It won't start. Had to call CAA for a brand-new SUV. We buy new every 4 years going back to the companies that care. Our last one was Nissan. Spreading the word. More

Never had a good experience at a Subaru dealership and the streak continues. I went to Subaru to lease a Crosstrek. I had done research for weeks, I knew what I wanted, I knew the features of the car a the streak continues. I went to Subaru to lease a Crosstrek. The sales associate never asked me my familiarity or what I needed in a vehicle and instead instantly starts trying to sell me on Subaru as a brand. He barely acknowledged the person I came with and talked way more than he listened. He came along for the drive, which I learned after from other dealerships was against Covid regulations. He sat in the back spouting off the perks of getting a Subaru, and after a 5min drive, never getting over 40kmph he started directing me back to the dealership. When I asked if I could find somewhere to open up the throttle and actually feel how the car drives. He reluctantly agreed, but told me to just take the same suburban roads, but drive faster... Once we were back in the dealership, he insisted I sign with him today or I'd never get the deal he was giving me again. He didn't care that my currently lease wasn't up for another month and a half, he told me once my last payment was made, "who cares it's over at that point". When I explained to him I had a certain colour in mind, he said there was one on the way, but it wouldn't be in for 10 days. He told me he would hold it for me if I signed today. When I said he didn't have to do that and that I could come have a look at the colour, and decide when it was in. He told me it would be sold by then. When I told him that was alright, and that I just wanted to look at it. He told me it likely wouldn't even show up now. So he wanted me to sign for a car I drove for 5min, in a residential family area, colour unseen. When I told him I had other cars to test drive. He told me every other car I was thinking about trying was garbage for one reason or another, and said I had until 6pm that night to sign - It was 4:20 when we left. We did not return. As we left he even had the nerve to say he wasn't trying to push anything on us and was only looking out for our best interest. Totally turned off by the entire experience. Might be the last time I look into Subaru. It's definitely not happening this time around. More

Stay away from their service department. I was on this location twice for an oil change but two different amount I paid for the service.
